Abstract:We exhibit a PI Hopf algebra that is not a finite module over its center. We survey some ring-theoretical properties of the bosonizations of enveloping algebras of Lie superalgebras.

Abstract:Let H be a Hopf algebra over a base field. If H has an ℕ-filtration such that the associated graded ring is connected graded noetherian and has enough normal elements, then H is Gorenstein. This gives a partial solution to a question of Brown and Brown-Goodearl. As a consequence, every quotient Hopf algebra of a generic quantized coordinate ring of a connected semisimple Lie group is Auslander-Gorenstein and Cohen-Macaulay. The last statement answers a question of Goodearl-Zhang.

Abstract:Let H be a cosemisimple Hopf algebra over a field k , and π : A → H be a surjective cocentral bialgebra homomorphism of bialgebras. The authors prove that if A is Galois over its coinvariants B = LH Ker π and B is a sub-Hopf algebra of A , then A is itself a Hopf algebra. This generalizes a result of Cegarra [3] on group-graded algebras.

Abstract:Let [Formula: see text] be a Hopf algebroid and [Formula: see text] a left [Formula: see text]-module algebra. In this paper, we mainly present the duality theorem for the smash product [Formula: see text], and making use of integral theory for Hopf algebroids, we investigate the stability of Gorenstein injective pre-envelopes and Gorenstein projective precovers between the category of [Formula: see text]-modules and the category of [Formula: see text]-modules. Moreover, we establish the relationship between Gorenstein global dimension of [Formula: see text] and that of [Formula: see text], and prove that [Formula: see text] has finite representation type, resp. is selfinjective, resp. is CM-finite [Formula: see text]-Gorenstein, if and only if [Formula: see text] has the same property under suitable conditions. As an application, we investigate the representation dimension of the lower triangular matrix Artin algebra [Formula: see text].

Abstract:We examine the inverse procedure of the Radford-Majid bosonization for Hopf superalgebras and give a handy method for enumerating Hopf superalgebras whose bosonization is isomorphic to a given Hopf algebra. As an application, we classify Hopf superalgebras of dimension up to 5 and give examples of higher dimensions.

Abstract:In this article, the two-parameter quantum Heisenberg enveloping algebra, which serves as a model for certain quantum generalized Heisenberg algebras, have been studied at roots of unity. In this context, the quantum Heisenberg enveloping algebra becomes a polynomial identity algebra, and the dimension of simple modules is bounded by its PI degree. The PI degree, center, and complete classification of simple modules up to isomorphism are explicitly presented. We work over a field of arbitrary characteristic, although our results concerning the representations require that it is algebraically closed.

Abstract:Let (M, Q) be a dg manifold. The space of vector fields with shifted degrees (X(M)[-1], L-Q) is a Lie algebra object in the homology category H((C-M(infinity), Q)-mod) of dg modules over (M, Q), the Atiyah class alpha(M) being its Lie bracket. The triple (X(M)[-1], L-Q; alpha(M)) is also a Lie algebra object in the Gabriel-Zisman homotopy category Pi((C-M(infinity), Q)-mod). In this paper, we describe the universal enveloping algebra of (X(M)[-1], L-Q; alpha(M)) and prove that it is a Hopf algebra object in Pi((C-M(infinity), Q)-mod). Abstract:The Hopf dual H ° of any Poisson Hopf algebra H is proved to be a co-Poisson Hopf algebra provided H is noetherian. Without noetherian assumption, unlike it is claimed in literature, the statement does not hold. It is proved that there is no nontrivial Poisson Hopf structure on the universal enveloping algebra of a non-abelian Lie algebra. So the polynomial Hopf algebra, viewed as the universal enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional abelian Lie algebra, is considered. The Poisson Hopf structures on polynomial Hopf algebras are exactly linear Poisson structures. The co-Poisson structures on polynomial Hopf algebras are characterized. Some correspondences between co-Poisson and Poisson structures are also established.

Abstract:We present a rich source of Hopf algebras starting from a cofinite central extension of a Noetherian Hopf algebra and a subgroup of the algebraic group of characters of the central Hopf subalgebra. The construction is transparent from a Tannakian perspective. We determine when the new Hopf algebras are co-Frobenius, or cosemisimple, or Noetherian, or regular, or have finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension.

On the sub-adjacent Hopf algebra of the universal enveloping algebra of a post-Lie algebra

Abstract:Recently the notion of post-Hopf algebra was introduced, with the universal enveloping algebra of a post-Lie algebra as the fundamental example. A novel property is that any cocommutative post-Hopf algebra gives rise to a sub-adjacent Hopf algebra with a generalized Grossman-Larson product. By twisting the post-Hopf product, we provide a combinatorial antipode formula for the sub-adjacent Hopf algebra of the universal enveloping algebra of a post-Lie algebra. Relating to such a sub-adjacent Hopf algebra, we also obtain a closed inverse formula for the Oudom-Guin isomorphism in the context of post-Lie algebras. Especially as a byproduct, we derive a cancellation-free antipode formula for the Grossman-Larson Hopf algebra of ordered trees through a concrete tree-grafting expression.

Khovanov algebras for the periplectic Lie superalgebras

Abstract:The periplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{p}(n)$ is one of the most mysterious and least understood simple classical Lie superalgebras with reductive even part. We approach the study of its finite dimensional representation theory in terms of Schur--Weyl duality. We provide an idempotent version of its centralizer, i.e. the super Brauer algebra. We use this to describe explicitly the endomorphism ring of a projective generator for $\mathfrak{p}(n)$ resembling the Khovanov algebra of [BS11a]. We also give a diagrammatic description of the translation functors from [BDE19] in terms of certain bimodules and study their effect on projective, standard, costandard and irreducible modules. These results will be used to classify irreducible summands in $V^{\otimes d}$, compute $\mathrm{Ext}^1$ between irreducible modules and show that $\mathfrak{p}(n)$-mod does not admit a Koszul grading.

Abstract:We establish a structure theorem, analogous to the classical result of Milnor and Moore, for differential graded Hopf algebras: any differential Hopf algebra $H$ that is free as a coalgebra carries an underlying $B_\infty$ algebra structure that restricts to the subspace of primitives, and conversely $H$ may be recovered via a universal enveloping differential-2-associative algebra. This extends the work of Loday and Ronco [12] where the ungraded non-differential case was treated, and only the multibrace part of the $B_\infty$ structure was found. We show that the multibrace structure of [12] originates from a twisting of a quasi-trivial structure, extending the work of Markl [14] on the $A_\infty$ structure underlying any algebra with a square-zero endomorphism. In this framework it is also clear that the multibrace and $A_\infty$ structures are compatible, and provide an appropriate $B_\infty$ structure for the structure theorem.

Abstract:Given an algebraically closed field k of characteristic p>5, we classify the finite algebraic k-supergroups whose algebras of measures are of finite representation type. Let G be such a supergroup and G̲ the largest ordinary algebraic k-group determined by G. We show that both G̲ and u(Lie(G)), the restricted enveloping algebra of Lie superalgebra of G, are of finite representation type. Moreover, only some special representation-finite algebraic k-groups of dimension zero are shown to appear if G≠G̲. The structure of G is almost determined by G̲ and u(Lie(G)). The Auslander–Reiten quivers are determined by showing that they are Nakayama algebras.

Abstract:Suppose H is a cocommutative Hopf algebra and P is the operad Ass, or Lie. For any left H-module V, we construct a graded Lie algebra (LP(V)=⨁n∈ZLPn(V),[,]), and prove that φ∈LP1 satisfies [φ,φ]=0 if and only if it determines a pseudoalgebra structure on V over the operad P, and LP(V) is a differential graded Lie algebra with a differentiation determined by the structure map φ of the H-pseudoalgebra V. Moreover, we construct a Lie algebra by using symmetric Schouten product for any pseudoalgebra V over the operad Lie.
Finitely $C^\infty$-generated associative and Hopf algebras

Abstract:We introduce finitely $C^\infty$-generated algebras, which can be treated as `algebras of functions' on non-commutative $C^\infty$-differentiable spaces. Our approach is based on the category of algebras that are projective limits of real Banach algebras of polynomial growth. We prove the existence of some universal constructions in this and some similar categories. By analogy with holomorphically finitely generated algebras of Pirkovskii, a finitely $C^\infty$-generated algebra is defined as a quotient of a finite-rank algebra of `free $C^\infty$-functions'. The latter notion was introduced in a previous article of the author. We prove in a full generality a structure result for `free $C^\infty$-functions', which was announced in that article and proved in dimension at most $2$. The central result asserts that the projective tensor product of a finite tuple of finitely $C^\infty$-generated algebras is finitely $C^\infty$-generated. In particular, this makes it natural to consider $C^\infty$-finitely generated topological Hopf algebras. Furthermore, a construction called `envelope' provides a functor from the category of affine real Hopf algebras to the category of $C^\infty$-finitely generated Hopf algebras.

Abstract:In this note we further explore the properties of universal enveloping algebras associated to a post-Lie algebra. Emphasizing the role of the Magnus expansion, we analyze the properties of group like-elements belonging to (suitable completions) of those Hopf algebras. Of particular interest is the case of post-Lie algebras defined in terms of solutions of modified classical Yang-Baxter equations. In this setting we will study factorization properties of the aforementioned group-like elements.
