Abstract:The invention relates to a lead and aluminum compound anode plate material and the preparing method, which belongs to the field of electrolysis technology. The invention adopts purified aluminum plate or aluminum alloy plate, purified lead or lead and silver alloy and copper electric conducting beam as raw materials. The invention later adopts acid corrosion operation to the purified aluminum plate or the aluminum alloy plate so as to remove an oxide film. And then the surface of the aluminum plate is plated with a layer of other metals such as Ag, Mg, Sr, Zn or Sn, and the processed purified aluminum plate or aluminum alloy is placed into a mould so as to be evenly poured with a purified lead or lead and silver alloy fluid to make out the lead and aluminum compound cathode plate blank. Finally, the lead and aluminum compound cathode plate blank is milled into the lead and aluminum compound cathode plate. The lead and aluminum compound anode plate has the advantages of fine electric conduction, possible groove voltage reduction, electric energy conservation and high intensity of the compound anode plate as well as impossible deformation.

Abstract:The powder-sintered technology for manufacturing thick metal hydride electrodes has been extensively investigated. A slurry consisting of hydrogen storage,alloy powder mixed with fine nickel powder and some additives was pasted onto the nickel foam as a current collector. By choosing adjustable sintering parameters, the composite metal hydride electrode was obtained. The effects of sintering parameters on the electrochemical properties of sintered metal hydride electrode have been characterized. The results showed that: the activation and high-rate discharge, ability were greatly improved and comparable to that obtained with conventional pasting process for sintered hydride electrode. In order to design the thick metal hydride electrode suitable for the oxygen diffusion electrode of air-metal hydride semi-fuel cell, the electrochemical characteristics of thick metal hydride electrode were comparativly studied for-different metal substrates, such as perforated nickel strip, perforated copper foil and copper mesh. As a consequence, the thick metal hydride electrode employing the perforated copper foil as a current collector has been evaluated to be suitable. for the air-metal hydride semi-fuel-cell.

Abstract:Spent cathode carbon (SCC), with high recycling potential of carbon, is an unavoidable solid waste in the aluminum electrolysis industry. In this work, we proposed a combined alkali fusion-acid leaching process for carbon recovery from SCC. The possible chemical reactions of complex inorganic impurities in molten alkali were predicted and verified by thermodynamic calculations. Further, effects of alkali fusion factors particle size, temperature, reaction time, and alkali/material ratio, on the removal rate of impurities were investigated comprehensively. The alkali fusion purification process of SCC was optimized by response surface method (RSM). Results showed that refractory impurities in the SCC were transformed into acid-soluble products by sodium hydroxide alkali fusion and then removed in acid leaching process. And carbon powder with < 1% ash content was obtained under optimum alkali fusion conditions (particle size, − 100 mesh; alkali/material ratio, 1.75; temperature, 550 °C; fusion time, 180min) and further purified by acid leaching. A deep purification of SCC was performed in alkali fusion-acid leaching process. This work is an advancement in the solid waste recycling field of the aluminum industry. And it is useful in scope of carbon purification and inorganic impurities removal.

Abstract:The present invention relates to lithium ion battery technologies, it is desirable to provide a kind of preparation method of the carbon-coated nano boron lithium composite material for lithium-sulfur cell cathode.It include: that glucose, urea and lithium metaborate are added in deionized water, ultrasonic vibration mixed dissolution；After solution is spray-dried, solidify 6 hours formation presomas at 106 DEG C；It is warming up to 500 DEG C under nitrogen atmosphere protection, after constant temperature is carbonized 2 hours, is heated 2~10 hours at 900~1300 DEG C, obtains carbon-coated nano boron lithium composite material.The lithium-sulfur cell formed using carbon-coated nano boron lithium as negative electrode material in the present invention, battery core can produce in dry air, greatly improve the security and reliability and production efficiency of lithium-sulfur cell production, reduce equipment cost and production cost.The charge and discharge cycles stability of boron lithium electrode can be greatlyd improve, the high power charging-discharging cycle life of lithium sulphion battery is improved.

Abstract:The invention discloses a method for preparing and comprehensively utilizing metal aluminum through coal ash pellet chlorination electrolysis. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing coal ash, a carbon source and kaolin in a mass ratio of 1:(2-6):(0.05-0.3) so as to form a mixed material; adding a binding agent which accounts for 1.0-2.0% of the total mass of the mixed material and water which accounts for 2.0-5.0% of the total mass of the mixed material into the mixed material; uniformly mixing, pelletizing, and drying in air; performing chlorination and separation on pellets so as to respectively obtain anhydrous aluminum chloride, silicon tetrachloride and gallium chloride; directly electrolyzing the anhydrous aluminum chloride so as to obtain the metal aluminum and chlorine; feeding back the chlorine into a chlorination procedure; and further purifying the silicon tetrachloride, thereby obtaining polycrystalline silicon and zinc chloride. The method disclosed by the invention is low in cost, cheap and easy in raw material obtaining, complete in chlorination reaction through pelletization and chlorination, simple in operation process and high in electrolysis automation degree, the prepared metal aluminum is relatively high in purity, and raw materials such as chlorine and zinc can be recycled.

Abstract:Simulations on the bath flow fields around a prebaked carbon anode with gas discharging grooves at the bottom which could be applied on aluminum reduction cell was conducted.The results reveal that with the help of the grooves,anode gas discharging is facilitated,residence time of bubbles in the interpolar gap(or ACD) and the bubbles coverage of the anode bottom can be reduced,which greatly contributes to the decrease of the voltage drop in ACD and anode effects,so the energy consumption of the aluminum production can be lowered.On the other hand electrolyte dragged by gas bubbles goes into the grooves,then to the side channel of the cell,passageway for the bath circulation is widened,a relatively smooth bath circulation around the anode will be formed,which enhances the heat and mass transmission,therefore a good electrolysis operation can be obtained.Compared the grooves which extend through the whole length of the anode bottom with those do not,the former are more propitious to the stability of the bath flow,meanwhile as the grooves facilitate the gas venting,the so called second reaction,i.e.the aluminum reduced diffuse into the bath and react with the anode gas again,could be restrained to some extent,which would be beneficial to the improvement of the current efficiency.

Abstract:Cobalt aluminate has been prepared by two different methods—sol-gel process and electroless plating,and characterized by XRD,SEM,EDX and DTA.The powder prepared by these two methods gain spinel structure at the same tempreture.The powder prepared by sol-gel meets to the stoichiometric proportion of cobalt aluminate.,but the element of Al is excessive in the powder prepared by electroless plating.Compared to sol-gel process,preparation of cobalt aluminate by electroless plating can not only gain smaller particle size and larger specific area but also control the particle size of the product and reduce the cost since Al_2O_3 substitutes for part of CoA1_2O_4 and COA1204 is more expensive.So,electroless plating is one effective method of preparing cobalt aluminate.

Abstract:The invention relates to a preparation method of a lithium ion battery nickel, cobalt and aluminum composite ternary cathode material. The preparation method of the lithium ion battery nickel, cobalt and aluminum composite ternary cathode material comprises the following steps: a, synthesizing a Ni0.75Co0.15A10.1 (OH) 2.05 precursor by a conventional control crystallization method; b. synthesizing LiNi0.75Co0.15A10.1O2 by baking at high temperature, to be specific, mixing lithium carbonate and a ternary precursor uniformly according to the mole ratio pf Li/M=1.04, and carrying out ball milling, wherein M refers to the sum of the mole ratios of three elements including nickel, cobalt and aluminum; sintering by a muffle furnace at the temperature from room temperature to 650 DEG C with the temperature rising velocity of 4-5 DEG C/min, wherein the temperature is not preserved at 650 DEG C; sintering at 600-940 DEG C with the temperature rising velocity of 1-1/5 DEG/min, and preserving heat for 12 hours at 940 DEG C; then cooling naturally as the furnace temperature; and crushing, thereby obtaining the nickel, cobalt and aluminum composite ternary cathode material LiNi0.75Co0.15A10.1O2. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the ternary cathode material can be modified by a special technology; the cyclicity of the material can be improved effectively; the using need of a high-performance lithium battery is met.

Abstract:Lithium-ion battery (LiB) is one of the special issues on nowadays and diverse researches to develop LiB with better performances have been carried out so far, especially, regarding improved properties of each component such as cathode, anode, separator and electrolyte. However, there are limited information on ‘processing’ to prepare each component, and especially fabrication of cathode is strongly dependent on thinky mixer to realize homogeneous dispersion of active materials and conductors in binders. Herein, we report on preparation of LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 (NCM811) based cathode materials with different carbon conductors (CNT and carbon black) using homogenizer and three-roll milling method. These processes are turned out perfect alternative to prepare cathode electrode. LiB cells were assembled using the dispersed electrode slurry and the performance of a cell was electrochemically stable, even in the case of a CNT conductor, which is normally difficult to make perfect dispersion because of its strong Van der Waals attraction between the tubes and π–π interactions.Graphic abstract

Abstract:White carbon black was prepared using aluminum sulfate dregs.The effects of the size of the residue powder,the calcining temperature,the leching temperature and time,the concentration of acid liquor,and the dosage of hydrochloric acid on the properties of the product were explored.Then the optimum conditions of the preparation technology of white carbon black using aluminum sulfate dregs was obtained.XRD analysis shows that the product was amorphous,and can be used as filler to reinforce rubber and plastics.

Abstract:In this paper, the preparation and antioxidant properties of SnO2 coating of steel claw of prebaked carbon used as electrolytic aluminium anode was investigated. A denser SnO2 coating on steel claw was prepared by high temperature glaze method. Phase Analysis, microstructure and chemical composition of the steel claw antioxidant coating were by Japan Rigaku D/Max2200 type X-ray diffraction, the Philip XL30 ESEM and EDS. the Oxidation resistance experiments results showed that the better anti-oxidation coating has a optimal thickness size of about 0.4mm.

Abstract:The invention relates to a preparation method of a carbon nanotube-silicon composite cathode material. The preparation method comprises the following steps of 1, dispersing carbon nanotubes into a carbon nanotube suspension liquid, immersing a copper wire mesh of 500 meshes into the carbon nanotube suspension liquid, taking it out, drying to obtain a carbon nanotube film supported by the copper wire mesh, and separating the carbon nanotube film from the copper wire mesh, and 2, putting the carbon nanotube film in a tube furnace, feeding argon into the tube furnace, treating at a temperature of 600 DEG C for 50min, feeding mixed gas of silane and argon into the tube furnace, and carrying out accurate measurement of quality values of the carbon nanotube film before and after deposition by a microbalance, wherein through control of chemical vapor deposition time, silane partial pressure and a flowing rate, a Si deposition amount is controlled. The preparation method of the carbon nanotube-silicon composite cathode material has simple processes and a low manufacture cost and is suitable for large-scale production. The carbon nanotube-silicon composite cathode material obtained by the preparation method has a high capacity and good safety.

The graphite paper current collector comprises a first surface and a second surface which are oppositely arranged; wherein the second surface is a surface acting with the active substance, the first surfaceis used for being connected with an external circuit, a plurality of holes are formed in the second surface, and the plurality of holes do not penetrate through the first surface. In addition, the invention also provides a preparation method of the current collector and a graphite paper negative electrode. The lithium ion battery half-cell assembled by the current collector provided by the invention has excellent cycling stability, also has good rate capability, and has excellent charging and discharging performance under large current. Compared with a copper foil and aluminum foil current collector used at present, under the condition of the same capacity, the mass of the whole electrode is greatly reduced, and the mass specific capacity can be improved by 100-200%.

Abstract:The invention discloses a method for preparing anti-oxidation copper conductor paste. The method comprises the following steps: 1) preparing an organic carrier; 2) evenly mixing copper powder with glass powder to obtain a solid phase mixture, and then carrying out three-roller grinding and mixing on the solid phase mixture and the organic carrier by using a three-roller grinding machine; 3) printing paste into a specific pattern on an Al2O3 substrate by using a silk screen printing machine, and adjusting process parameters to change the thickness of the paste layer into 20 microns; and 4) sintering in a tube furnace under nitrogen atmosphere protection. According to the method disclosed by the invention, since the organic carrier is self made, the cost is low and the volatilization performance is good, and anti-oxidation sintering of the copper conductor paste can be realized by the atmosphere protection. A conducting circuit prepared from the copper conductor paste replaces silver conductor paste in a part of environments, the prepared conductor has excellent conductivity, and the technological process is simple, so that the method is a conductor preparation method having a high economic benefit.

The concrete building block is prepared from dry materials and auxiliary materials, wherein the dry materials comprise the following ingredients in percent by weight: 35 to 60 percent of coal fired furnace slag, 20 to 35 percent of cement, 4 to 8 percent of quicklime, 0 to 4 percent of flue gas desulfurization gypsum and the balance waste materials. The waste materials are leftovers generated through cutting in the production process of the autoclaved aerated concrete building block; the auxiliary materials comprise aluminum powder paste, NaCO3, a foam stabilizing agent and a water reducing agent; the aluminum powder paste accounts for 0.08 to 0.12 percent of the weight of the dry materials; the NaCO3 accounts for 0.03 to 0.1 percent of the weight of the dry materials; the foam stabilizing agent accounts for 0.01 to 0.03 percent of the weight of the dry materials; the water reducing agent accounts for 0.03 to 0.05 percent of the weight of the dry materials. The coal fired furnace slag autoclaved aerated concrete building block has the innovation point that the coal fired furnace slag is used; in addition, the lime use amount is low; the cost is reduced; meanwhile, the autoclaved aerated concrete building block with all technical indexes capable of meeting the national standard requirements is produced.

Abstract:The invention discloses a preparation method of a multi-stage structured silicon-carbon composite negative electrode material of a lithium ion battery. The preparation method comprises the following steps of (1) preparing an initial sample; and (2) stirring and mixing the sample obtained in the step (1) with graphene in 100mL of tetrachlorosilane solution for 1 hour, performing suction filtration on the obtained sample, putting the sample into a porcelain boat, heating the porcelain boat to 650 DEG C at the rate of 1.5 DEG C per minute under the protection of mixed gas consisting of hydrogen and argon according to a volume ratio of 1 to 4, performing carbonized sintering under the temperature of 650 DEG C for 6 hours, then naturally cooling the sample to room temperature, mixing the obtained sample with elemental sulfur and acetylene black, transferring the mixed sample into a muffle furnace and sintering in air under the temperature of 300 DEG C for 2 hours, thereby obtaining the multi-stage structured silicon-carbon composite negative electrode material. The negative electrode material prepared by the preparation method disclosed by the invention is of a multi-stage composite structure, the particle size distribution is uniform, and the electronic conductivity is high; the silicon-based negative electrode material with the multi-stage structure is excellent in electrochemical performance.

Abstract:The invention discloses a preparation method of conductive paste for negative electrode of lithium ion battery, the method comprises placing a material constituting an electrode slurry into a ball mill pot for mixing, the material constituting the electrode slurry comprises an active substance, a conductive agent, a binder and a solvent, and the mixing comprises stirring the active substance and asolvent required for dissolving the active substance in a first homogeneous slurry in the ball milling tank to obtain a mixed slurry with uniform dispersion; adding the conductive agent and the binder into the mixed slurry, supplementing the solvent according to the required solid content, and performing second homogenization stirring to obtain the conductive slurry; Wherein the rotation speed ofthe first homogenate stirring is higher than that of the second homogenate stirring. According to the characteristics of different materials, the filler and slurry combination are improved to improvethe slurry combination efficiency, shorten the slurry combination time and enhance the electrochemical performance of the conductive slurry.

Abstract:In this paper, the problem of the rapid rise of cathode voltage dropCathode Voltage Drop (CVD) (CVD) in an aluminum smelter enterprise is analyzed and addressed. Among the factors that lead to the increase of the CVD caused by the long-term unstable power supply loadUnstable Power Supply Load, the reduction of the conductive area of the cathode due to the increase of sludge, crusts, and the growth of side ledge was the main reason, and the sodium penetration and expansion were also inevitable. The CVD could be significantly reduced by adjusting the parameters reasonably and clearing the sludge and crusts on the cathode’s surface of the cells manually, but it was not easy to recover to the initial value. To keep the CVD stable over the long term, it was key to stabilize the controlling parameters, and ensure that the cathode surface temperature was slightly higher than the temperature of the liquid bath.

Abstract:The chemical composition of coal tar pitch has a significant effect on its wettability and the performance of carbon anode for aluminum electrolysis. This study aimed to reveal the correlation among chemical composition, wettability, and carbon anode performance, as well as provide strategies for reducing energy consumption, greenhouse gases, and hazardous waste emissions during aluminum electrolysis processes. First, the chemical composition of modified coal tar pitch was regulated by adding low-temperature coal tar pitch. The effects of low-temperature coal tar pitch mixing amount on the chemical composition, basic properties, contact angle, static wettability, functional groups, and coke microstructure were studied. In particular, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were performed to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze radical emissions and surface structure of coal tar pitch at the microscopic scale. Subsequently, the correlation of chemical composition, wettability, and performance was discussed according to the effect of low-temperature coal tar pitch on the performance of carbon anode. Results showed that the incorporation of low-temperature coal tar pitch reduced the softening point and viscosity, and the increase in fluidity improved the contact angle and static wettability. Meanwhile, the increase in volatile content and the decrease in coking value, surface roughness, nanoscale adhesion, and free radical release concentration jointly weakened the bonding strength between coal tar pitch and calcined petroleum coke. The performance of the carbon anode prepared by blending low-temperature coal tar pitch weakened, except for the ash content. Consequently, the balance between the wettability and bonding strength of coal tar pitch is essential for the preparation of high-quality anode for aluminum electrolysis.

Abstract:Spent cathode carbon block (SCCB) is one of the hazardous solid wastes generated in the electrolytic aluminum. Traditional landfills contaminate the environment, and waste resources. Therefore, the harmless treatment and the effective recovery of SCCB will be an urgent challenge. First, the complex physicochemical properties of SCCB, and the hazards caused to the environment are introduced. Recovery strategies and methods for the safe disposal and resource utilization are then described in detail. Flotation recovery in physical methods is proven to be economically and efficiently superior and has been industrialized. Hydrometallurgy describes various methods and techniques for selective recovery of valuable elements from leachate and preparation of products. Pyrometallurgy presents processes for the incineration, molten salt roasting, collaborative disposal, and material preparation. Finally, the remaining challenges and prospects of SCCB reuse should be in the direction of non-pollution, low cost, low energy and high value are emphasized. This study provides guidance for the subsequent green resource-based recycling of SCCB and alleviates various scientific and technological challenges of hazardous waste recycling in a circular economy.
