Abstract:Spindle cell lipomas are extremely rare in the oral cavity, especially in the hard palate, and can be mistaken for liposarcomas due to their similar histological features. We present a case of a 53-year-old male who was referred with an asymptomatic lesion on the hard palate with 35 years of duration. Intraoral examination showed a pedicled nodule with soft consistency in the midline region of the hard palate, covered by normochromic and smooth-surfaced mucosa, measuring approximately 3x3cm. The patient's medical history was not relevant.
