Abstract:Intraosseous lipomas are exceedingly rare as primary bone tumors, and they are even more seldom encountered in the bones of the head and neck. Typically, they remain asymptomatic and are often discovered incidentally during radiographic examinations conducted for unrelated concerns. Here, we present a case involving a 70-year-old female patient who sought dental care in preparation for a new maxillary denture prosthesis. Upon intraoral examination, a swelling with a firm consistency, covered by normal mucosa, was detected in the posterior maxilla on the left side.
