Abstract:Lipoma is a benign mesenchymal tumor primarily composed of adipose tissue. This case report aims to describe an instance of oral lipoma. The patient, a 61-year-old male with leukoderma, presented with a two-year history of a 2 cm lesion on the right lower labial mucosa. The lesion was painless and did not exhibit any bleeding. An excisional biopsy was performed, with a preliminary diagnostic hypothesis of mucocele or lipoma. During the procedure, a tissue fragment with a well-defined, yellowish appearance, elastic consistency, and smooth surface was observed.
