Abstract:This report describes a rare case of oral inverted ductal papilloma. A 54-year-old female patient presented with a painless nodular lesion on the lower lip of unknown duration. Clinically, the lesion appeared as a submucosal nodule, with a normal color and smooth surface, measuring 1.0 cm. A benign mesenchymal neoplasm was the clinical diagnosis. Under local anesthesia, an excisional biopsy was performed. Microscopically, rounded endophytic projections of squamous and cuboidal epithelial cells were observed in the transition zone between the secretory duct and the oral cavity epithelium, presenting numerous clear cells, microcystic structures, and isolated mucous cells.
