Direct Amination of Isobutene to tert-Butylamine

Abstract:The Preparation technologies for tert butylamine with isobutene were bricfly reviewed. Emphasis is given on the new researches about direct amination of isobutene to tert butylamine. With analysis of thermodynamics, the views on selecting the process of direct amination of mixing C 4 alkenes to tert butylamine is economics for China. To realize the direct amination of mixing C 4 alkenes to tert butylamine, it is necessary to reseach the catalyst with low temperature acidic activity.
