Abstract:In this proceedings a particular example from \cite{KMPY} (<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="q-alg/9603025" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/q-alg/9603025">q-alg/9603025</a>) is presented: the construction of the level 2 Fock space of $\U_q(\affsl{2})$. The generating ideal of the wedge relations is given and the wedge space defined. Normal ordering of wedges is defined in terms of the energy function. Normally ordered wedges form a base of the wedge space. The q-deformed Fock space is defined as the space of semi-infinite wedges with a finite number of vectors in the wedge product differing from a ground state sequence, and endowed with a separated q-adic topology . Normally ordered wedges form a base of the Fock space. The action of $\U_q(\affsl{2})$ on the Fock space converges in the q-adic topology. On the Fock space the action of bosons, which commute with the $\U_q(\affsl{2})$-action, also converges in the q-adic topology. Hence follows the decomposition of the Fock space into irreducible $\U_q(\affsl{2})$-modules.

Abstract:On a one-dimensional lattice without uniform interval, the Hermitian conjugation of a q-differential operator is discussed. Then a deformation of quantum mechanics in one dimension is presented. As an application, the harmonic oscillator is discussed. The energy spectrum and the eigenfunctions are shown to depend on an arbitrary deformation function. The deformed coherent states are also discussed. It is found that the completeness relation of coherent states holds for the case of q-coherent states, i.e. the deformation of the Heisenberg-Weyl algebra is a q-analogue Hopf algebra.

Abstract:In this paper, we adopt q -deformed binary operations, such as q -addition, q -subtraction, q -multiplication, and q -division, to construct the q -deformed Schrödinger equation in one dimension. We explore the mathematics involving q -deformed binary operations. We q -deform the ordinary commutator and the definition of Fock space in q -deformed quantum mechanics. As examples, we discuss the particle in a box and the harmonic oscillator.

Abstract:Based on the work of Ringel and Green, one can define the (Drinfeld) double Ringel–Hall algebra D(Q) of a quiver Q as well as its highest weight modules. The main purpose of the present paper is to show that the basic representation L(Λ0) of D(Δn) of the cyclic quiver Δn provides a realization of the q-deformed Fock space ⋀∞ defined by Hayashi. This is worked out by extending a construction of Varagnolo and Vasserot. By analysing the structure of nilpotent representations of Δn, we obtain a decomposition of the basic representation L(Λ0) which induces the Kashiwara–Miwa–Stern decomposition of ⋀∞ and a construction of the canonical basis of ⋀∞ defined by Leclerc and Thibon in terms of certain monomial basis elements in D(Δn).

Abstract:In this paper, from the $q$-gauge covariant condition we define the $q$-deformed Killing form and the second $q$-deformed Chern class for the quantum group $SU_{q}(2)$. Developing Zumino's method we introduce a $q$-deformed homotopy operator to compute the $q$-deformed Chern-Simons and the $q$-deformed cocycle hierarchy. Some recursive relations related to the generalized $q$-deformed Killing forms are derived to prove the cocycle hierarchy formulas directly. At last, we construct the $q$-gauge covariant Lagrangian and derive the $q$-deformed Yang-Mills equation. We find that the components of the singlet and the adjoint representation are separated in the $q$-deformed Chern class, $q$-deformed cocycle hierarchy and the $q$-deformed Lagrangian, although they are mixed in the commutative relations of BRST algebra.

Abstract:A way to construct the natural representation of the quantized affine algebra Uv(sl̂l) is via the deformed Fock space by Misra and Miwa. This relates the classes of Weyl modules for Uq(slN) were q is a root of unity to the action of Uv(sl̂l) as N tends toward infinity. In this paper we investigate the situation outside of type A . In classical types, we construct embeddings of the Grothendieck group of finite dimensional Uq(g) -modules into Fock spaces of different charges and define an action of an affine quantum symmetric pair that plays the role of the quantized affine algebra. We describe how the action is related to the linkage principal for quantum groups at a root of unity and tensor product multiplicities.

Abstract:Using $q$-calculus we study a family of reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces which interpolate between the Hardy space and the Fock space. We give characterizations of these spaces in terms of classical operators such as integration and backward-shift operators, and their $q$-calculus counterparts. Furthermore, these new spaces allow us to study intertwining operators between classic backward-shift operators and the q-Jackson derivative.

Abstract:Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity and let $V$ be a free $R$-module of rank $n$ for some $n\in\mathbb{N}$. Fixing an $R$-basis $\mathcal{E}$ of $V$, the symmetric group $\mathfrak{S}_n$ acts on $V$ by permuting $\mathcal{E}$ and hence on tensor space $V^{\otimes r}$ for $r\in\mathbb{N}$ via the usual tensor product action turning $V$ and $V^{\otimes r}$ into $R\mathfrak{S}_n$-modules. For units $q$ in $R$ we construct an action of the corresponding Iwahori-Hecke algebra $\mathcal{H}_{R,q}(\mathfrak{S}_n)$ which specializes to the action of $R\mathfrak{S}_n$, if $q$ is taken to $1$. The centralizing algebra of this action is called the $q$-partition algebra $\mathcal{P}_{R,q}(n,r)$. Let $R$ be a field of characteristic not dividing $q$. We prove, that $\mathcal{P}_{R,q}(n,r)$ is isomorphic to the $q$-partition algebra defined by Halverson and Thiem by different means a few years ago.

Abstract:A $(q,t)$-deformation of the 2d Toda integrable hierarchy is introduced by enhancing the underlying symmetry algebra $\mathfrak{gl}(\infty)\simeq \text{q-W}_{1+\infty}$ to the quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}(1)$ algebra. The difference-differential equations of the hierarchy are obtained from the expansion of $(q,t)$-bilinear identities, and two equations refining the 2d Toda equation are found in this way. The derivation of the bilinear identities follows from the isomorphism between the Fock representation of level $(2,0)$ of the quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}(1)$ algebra and the tensor product of the q-deformed Virasoro algebra with a $u(1)$ Heisenberg algebra. It leads to identify the $(q,t)$-deformed Casimir with the screening charges of the deformed Virasoro algebra. Due to the non-trivial coproduct, equations of the hierarchy no longer involve a single tau-function, but instead relate a set of different tau functions. We then define the universal refined tau function using the $L$-matrix of the quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}(1)$ algebra and interpret it as the generating function of the deformed tau functions. The equations of the hierarchy, written in terms of the universal refined tau function, combine into two-term quadratic equations similar to the $RLL$ equations.

Abstract:We follow the general recipe for constructing commutative families of $W$-operators, which provides Hurwitz-like expansions in symmetric functions (Macdonald polynomials), in order to obtain a difference operator example that gives rise to a $(q,t)$-deformation of the earlier studied models. As before, a key role is played by an appropriate deformation of the cut-and-join rotation operator. We outline its expression both in terms of generators of the quantum toroidal algebra and in terms of the Macdonald difference operators.

Abstract:It is known that the involution corresponding to the compact form is incompatible with comultiplication for quantum groups at $|q|=1$. In this paper we consider the quantum algebra of functions on the deformed space $T^{*}G_{q}$ which includes both the quantum group and the quantum universal enveloping algebra as subalgebras. For this extended object we construct an anti-involution which reduces to the compact form $*$-operation in the limit $q\rightarrow 1$. The algebra of functions on $T^{*}G_{q}$ endowed with the $*$-operation may be viewed as an algebra of observables of a quantum mechanical system. The most natural interpretation for such a system is a deformation of the quantum symmetric top. We suggest a discrete dynamics for this system which imitates the free motion of the top.

Abstract:We introduce a $q$-deformation that generalises in a single framework previous works on classical and enriched $P$-partitions. In particular, we build a new family of power series with a parameter $q$ that interpolates between Gessel's fundamental ($q=0$) and Stembridge's peak quasisymmetric functions ($q=1$) and show that it is a basis of $\QSym$ when $q\notin\{-1,1\}$. Furthermore we build their corresponding monomial bases parametrised with $q$ that cover our previous work on enriched monomials and the essential quasisymmetric functions of Hoffman.

Abstract:In this paper we study left and right `regular representations' of , an infinite-dimensional analogue of the classical Lie group with entries indexed by the integers, on a space which we take to be the projective limit of Bargmann - Fock - Segal spaces. We decompose into an orthogonal direct sum where the hat indicates the closure of the algebraic direct sum, and where each is irreducible with respect to the joint left and right action, and the isotypic component of the left or right actions with double signatures of the type . For each , is the subspace generated by the joint action on a highest weight vector with highest weight . We start by defining the group and its Lie algebra , and discuss the `infinite wedge space', F, defined by Kac, and its transpose . We then define a kind of determinant function on , prove several identities and properties of these determinants, and use these to produce intertwining maps from tensor products of F and to , thereby obtaining irreducible subspaces and highest weight vectors. We further adapt these results to representations of on the inductive limit of Bargmann - Fock - Segal spaces .

Abstract:We study Beurling-Fourier algebras of $ q $-deformations of compact semisimple Lie groups. On $q$-deformed cubic equations: the quantum heptagon and nonagon

Abstract:The recent notion of $q$-deformed irrational numbers is characterized by the invariance with respect to the action of the modular group $\PSL(2,\Z)$, or equivalently under the Burau representation of the braid group~$B_3$. The theory of $q$-deformed quadratic irrationals and quadratic equations with integer coefficients is known and entirely based on this invariance. In this paper, we consider the case of cubic irrationals. We show that irreducible cubic equations with three distinct real roots and cyclic Galois group~$C_3$ (or $\Z/3\Z$) acting by a third order element of $\PSL(2,\Z)$, have a canonical $q$-deformation, that we describe. This class of cubic equations contains well-known examples including the equations that describe regular $7$- and $9$-gons.
