If there exist b not equal 0 and h > 0 such that for every f is an element of F, (E) over bar(f)(0) = (E) over bar(f)(k)(b) and 0 < \f((k+1))(z)\ less than or equal to h whenever z is an element of (E) over bar(f)(0), then F is a normal family on D. The case (E) over bar(f)(0) = empty set is a celebrated result of Gu [5].

Abstract:In this paper we generalize a result of Ye, Pang and Yang[12] on the normality of a family of holomorphic curves in $P^N(\mathbb{C})$. Further we obtain a normality criterion for family of meromorphic functions that partially share wandering holomorphic functions with their derivatives. We also devise a tractable representation of complex valued holomorphic functions from D as functions from D to $P^2(\mathbb{C})$ obtain a normality criterion that leads to a counterexample to the converse of Bloch's principle.

We consider wandering moving hyperplanes (i.e., depending on the respective holomorphic curve in the family under consideration), and establish a sufficient condition of normality concerning shared hyperplanes.

Abstract:A classical set of birational invariants of a variety are its spaces of pluricanonical forms and some of their canonically defined subspaces. Each of these vector spaces admits a typical metric structure which is also birationally invariant. These vector spaces so metrized will be referred to as the pseudonormed spaces of the original varieties. A fundamental question is the following: Given two mildly singular projective varieties with some of the first variety's pseudonormed spaces being isometric to the corresponding ones of the second variety's, can one construct a birational map between them that induces these isometries? In this work, a positive answer to this question is given for varieties of general type. This can be thought of as a theorem of Torelli type for birational equivalence.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the normal form problem of a commutative family of germs of diffeomorphisms at a fixed point, say the origin, of $\mathbb{K}^n$ ($\mathbb{K}=\mathbb{C}$ or $\mathbb{R}$). We define a notion of integrability of such a family. We give sufficient conditions which ensure that such an integrable family can be transformed into a normal form by an analytic (resp. a smooth) transformation if the initial diffeomorphisms are analytic (resp. smooth).

Abstract:In this paper, we find that the integrated form $d_F$ of a complex Finsler metric $F$ is inner. The distance $d_F$ is complete if and only if every closed bounded subset of a complex manifold $M$ is compact. We prove a version of theorem for normal families of holomorphic mappings between two complex Finsler manifolds, i.e, the theorem of Montel in complex Finsler manifolds. Our results extend the basic theorem of strongly negatively curved families for a Hermitian manifold [Wu, Acta Math. 119(1967), 193-233] or [Grauert, Reckziegel, Math. Z. 89(1965), 108-125]. As applications, we obtain a complex Finsler version of theorems $A$-$F$ in [Wu, Acta Math. 119(1967), 193-233], including the Cartan-Carathéodory-Kaup-Wu theorem, the theorem of the automorphism group on a complex Finsler manifold and some rigid results.

Abstract:In this paper, we first extend Zalcman's principle of normality to the families of holomorphic mappings from Riemann surfaces to a compact Hermitian manifold. We then use this principle to derive an estimate for Gauss curvatures of the minimal surfaces in R-m whose Gauss maps satisfy some property P, in the spirit of Bloch's heuristic principle in complex analysis. Consequently, we recover and simplify the known results about value distribution properties of the Gauss map of minimal surfaces in R-m
