Abstract:This paper begined with the citation indexing formats of English academic literatures provided by library and information science abstracts,so citation formats like Harvard System,British Standard System,APA Style,MLA Style,Chicago Style and so on were all introduced.Then some surveys were carried out to clarify the practical use of these citation formats in academic periodicals.According to the results,this paper stated the reasons why they can maintain blooming together.At last,some sponsors for citation indexing formats of academic periodicals in China were put forward.

Abstract:In 2010,the United States and China released their guidelines for diagnosis and management of alcoholic liver disease(ALD).Due to the differences in population,economy and culture between the Eastern and Western hemisphere,similarities and differences naturally exist in consensus and clinical practices of ALD.In the present study,similarities and differences between American and Chinese guidelines were illustrated in five aspects concerning epidemiology,risk factors,diagnostic criteria,assessment system and treatment.Moreover,the unique profiles and arguments in these guidelines were addressed.

Abstract:Purpose Citation content in academic papers and academic monographs promotes the knowledge flow among different publications. However, existing citation content analysis (CCA) focuses on academic papers and monographs have not received much research attention. We want to know if monographs are appropriate objects of CCA and whether existing methods of analyzing citation in papers are suitable for citation in monographs. Therefore, this paper aims to learn more about features of cited references and citation content in monographs and compare the characteristic of citation pattern between monographs and papers. Design/methodology/approach The authors manually annotate the references and syntactic citation content in academic monographs published by Morgan & Claypool and automatically extracted the references and citation content from academic papers published by Public Library of Science. Five features in two types citation pattern, namely, pattern of cited reference (including year, source and mention frequency of reference) and pattern of citation content (including location, length of citation content) are used to examine similarities and differences between monographs and papers. Findings The results indicate that between monographs and papers, differences are shown in location, length of citation content and year, source of reference, whereas frequency of mention of reference is similar. Originality/value Previous studies have explored the patter of citation content in academic papers. However, none of the existing literature, as far as the authors know, has considered the citation content in academic monographs and the similarities or differences among academic documents when studying the citation pattern.

Abstract:Nowadays, children live in a more privileged life and are provided by family and society with more advantageous conditions. At the same time, social development needs children have high qualified talents to face such environment，then good family education is the key point to the high qualified talents. Because family is the first place that children receive education, which plays an important role in the intellectual development and the quality of the children. There are many types of family education in the world and each of them shows distinctive features and closely relate to its culture. And American family education is the most famous one among them. There are great differences in the concepts, methods and results of education between America and China. My paper will analyze those differences from the three aspects, especially the differences on cultivating children’s independence, creativity and relationships between children and parents of the two kinds of family education. I hope to find a satisfied family education method through comparing the differences between Chinese and American family education so as to provide a helpful way for Chinese family education.

Abstract:There are the differences in the location of some acupoints between textbooks Meridians and Acupoints and Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Both of the textbooks are in the category of the "14th Five-Year Plan". The differences in acupoint location have brought some confusion for students, full-time teachers and researchers in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. In the paper, based on GB/T 12346-2021： Nomenclature and Location of Meridian Points, published in2021, and in reference with GB/T 12346-2006： Nomenclature and Location of Acupuncture Points, published in 2006, the discrepancy in the acupoint location was systematically collated in the aspects of the expression style and layout, text expression and potential difference of location between these two textbooks, published by China Press of Traditional Chinese Medicine, People's Medical Publishing House and China Science Publishing. Based on the historical evolution and the academic controversy of acupoint positioning, the reasons of the differences in acupoint location were analyzed, the potential influences on the teaching, examination, competition and research of Chinese medicine acupuncture were explored, and the suggestions for solution were proposed.

Abstract:English idioms and Chinese idioms play very important roles in both languages. They have common characteristics of human language on one hand, but also have great differences in many aspects resulted from national traditions and customs on another hand. The paper probes into the differences and similarities between the idioms in English and Chinese languages and attempts to help people from different cultural background master the usage by comparative study, thus promote international communication. Comme un phenomene linguistique, les proverbes anglais et chinois presentent des traits identiques de la langue humaine, et des caracteristiques nationales differentes. L’article present entreprend une analyse profonde sur les similitudes et differences des proverbes anglais et chinois. L’etude comparative permet aux gens de different contexte culturel de mieux maitriser l’emploi respectif des proverbes anglais et chinois, et ainsi, de promouvoir la communication internationale.
