Abstract:This paper introduces an in-situ Raman spectroscopy detection method for dissolved gases in transformer oil based on oil-gas separation membrane. A perforated quartz capillary coated with Teflon AF2400 membrane serves as oil-gas separation component. The dissolved gases are extracted and allowed to enter the core of the hollow-core anti-resonant fiber (HC-ARF). Subsequently, the Raman signal, generated by interaction between gas and the incident laser, is amplified by HC-ARF, enabling in-situ detection of dissolved H 2 , CO 2 , C 2 H 2 , and CO with limit of detection of 5.3, 9.4, 2.1 and 13.2 ppm at 1 bar. The oil-gas separation component’s effectiveness and the feasibility of continuous detection are investigated through a 24-h oil-gas separation experiment on multi-component dissolved gas. A quantitative investigation of the establishment speed of oilgas equilibrium and the gas concentrations at equilibrium is conducted. This paper provides technical support for the design and application of in-situ detection of dissolved gases in transformer oil.
