Abstract:This research which investigates teachers’ and students’ opinions about students’ attention problems during the lesson is a descriptive study in the survey model. 432 teachers and 1023 students from secondary schools in the central districts of Adana voluntarily participated in the study. The research data were collected with a Written Interview Form developed by the researchers and a descriptive content analysis was used for data analysis. As a result of the research, it was observed that the teachers perceived the attention problems that the students experienced during the course mostly as a problem arising from the students themselves while the students associate this problem not only with themselves, but also with other students, teachers and the environment. According to the results, teachers as well as students easily noticed the psychological characteristics, the behaviors they exhibited and their low academic performance, but the teachers evaluate this situation more as disciplinary problems. The solution suggestions of the teachers who kept the attention problems of the students out of their own sphere and their teaching practices were that passing exams should be harder and discipline regulations should change to facilitate punishment. The students stated that teachers should show more interest towards the students, approach the students positively and use a variety of teaching methods in accordance with the students’ level.

Abstract:Students’ attention during the class designs the thick lines of the learning trajectory. A good portion of the lesson’s content may be perceived slightly easy with an active alertness, and the rest of it requires extended time to analyze the given material outside the classroom-homework. Active attention equips students with the necessary data and more information of an addressed lesson during a session; the key concern remains how to keep students’ attention to the maximum in the classroom. The paper will elaborate various facts and observations, which might contradict each other in numerical aspects. For instance, a great number of researchers support the idea that a student’s attention lasts continually for ten minutes, and then is off. Afterward, the mind wanders outside the session’s frame. A certain group of researchers support the idea that attention lasts for a short period of time, it rests for a few minutes and then again is active-this process occurs periodically throughout the session. Others comply with different ideas, which are aligned with strong evidence, too. On top of everything else, the paper concerns how to keep student’s attentiveness wide-awake during a learning discussion by describing the main idea in different versions and keeping high their learning trajectory that reaches its highest points.

Abstract:Seminar classes are problem-oriented and student-centered,which lay emphasis not only on learning outcomes but also learning process.The class usually starts with a problem description given by the teacher,followed by collaborative exploration of the problem by both the teacher and students,and ends with a discussion of the research report written by students to tackle the problem.Employing the methodology of action research and content analysis,the present study found that student engagement rates in seminar classes are noticeably higher than in traditional classes.What’s more,student engagement in seminar classes tends to be more indepth,usually taking the form of an analytical or evaluative comment.The present study also designs two scales to assess student engagement rates,and put forward several suggestions about how to further improve student engagement in seminar classes.

Abstract:This article focused on the teachers' strategies in getting the grade 1 students' attention span at equalBright School. Since the students could not proceed classroom activities well, thus some strategies will be necessary. The aims of this article were to find out the teachers' strategies in getting students's attention span. This article will use qualitative research design in analyzing the teacher's strategies in getting grade 1 students' attention span at equalBright School. The teacher used four strategy in getting students' attention span, which are giving clear direction and asking student to repeat it, making learning interesting, setting the HOTS (Higher order thinking skills) and varying lesson presentations. In addition, there will be advantages by applying those strategies in the classroom, like helping the students to evaluate information rapidly, making connections between the lesson, fully engaged in the lesson, it is able to make an effective limiting teaching to make it not too long for the students. Abstract:The Reading habit is an essential and important aspect for creating the literate society in this world. It shapes the personality of an individual and helps them to develop the proper thinking methods and create new ideas. At present, due to the influence of the mass media, people do not show much interest in reading books, magazines and journals. Therefore, there is an urgent need to embed and develop the reading habit in the minds of our young children. This study was conducted to assess and determine some appropriate measures and methods to improve the reading habits of Class III students of Patshaling Primary school. Reading habits are best formed at a young impressionable age in school, but once formed it can last one’s lifetime (Green, 2001). The mixed, observational descriptive study of longitudinal design used instruments like observation, diaries and interviews to collect both qualitative and quantitative data. In this paper, the researcher also discussed various methods and benefits in improving reading habits. Findings from this study concluded that the intervention program implemented on 14 students of Class III students could significantly improve the reading habits and develop a positive attitude towards reading. This research comes as the solution to both the teachers and students of lower primary school students who are struggling to improve their reading habits. The study provides some useful insight into developing reading habits and how reading habits can be enhanced to achieve maximum development in our young children.

Abstract:Since the 1990s, education has undergone a significant transformation with the emergence of information technology. This has led to the development of online learning formats such as MOOC and flipped classrooms. Blended teaching is a novel teaching approach that integrates online teaching with traditional classroom settings. The College English Course at Panzhihua university has been fully implementing the blended teaching mode for several years. However, with the wide implementation of blended teaching mode, some problems have gradually appeared. Such as the lack of teacher-student interaction, imperfect online teaching facilities, and insufficient selfdiscipline of students. In implementing blended teaching at our university, several challenges have arisen, with the foremost being the inadequate self-discipline among students and their low motivation for autonomous learning. Self-discipline is crucial in the context of blended learning, as it directly impacts students’ ability to learn independently. Improving self-discipline can significantly enhance students’ autonomous learning capabilities. Therefore, establishing an effective self-discipline mechanism is a vital and impactful measure to bolster students’ selfdiscipline. This study investigates and analyzes the current situation of students’ English learning in Panzhihua University under the blended teaching mode by studying students’ autonomous learning ability in the blended teaching mode, and identifies the self-discipline problems of our students in English autonomous learning, so as to formulate a targeted class self-discipline mechanism to enhance students’ self-discipline awareness, and ultimately to achieve the effect of improving the autonomous learning of English.

Abstract:Background Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common childhood neurodevelopmental disorder, but it can also persist into adulthood. College teachers are faced with challenges in the face of students with ADHD tendency and need appropriate coping strategies to help these students improve their learning effect and adaptability. Research objects and Methods This study selected a certain number of university teachers as research objects, and collected data by means of questionnaire survey. The main content of the questionnaire was the teachers’ views on the cognition degree, teaching strategy and support measures of students with ADHD tendency. SPSS23.0 software was used to record and analyze the data. Results The results show that most college teachers have relatively low cognition of students with ADHD tendency, and there are some confusions in coping with them. At the same time, however, some teachers have adopted positive strategies, such as providing additional tutoring and support, and establishing clear rules and time management methods. These teachers have achieved some success in helping students improve their learning effectiveness and adaptability. Conclusions From the perspective of educational psychology, college teachers should improve their cognition of students with ADHD tendency and adopt appropriate coping strategies to help them. This includes providing additional tutoring and support, setting clear rules and time management methods, and encouraging students to engage in classroom interactions. These measures can help students reduce attention difficulties and hyperactive behaviors, and improve the learning effect and adaptability.

Abstract:This research focuses on the study of learning difficulties among students in China. The aim of this study is to analyze the causes of learning difficulties at different educational levels and provide recommendations to reduce the number of students facing these challenges. The introduction provides background information on the definition and prevalence of learning difficulties among students. The significance of this research lies in reducing biases and the number of students facing learning difficulties. The analysis of the causes of learning difficulties is divided into three sections: primary school, high school, and university. Each section explores the specific factors that contribute to learning difficulties at that particular educational level. The transformation section discusses strategies to reduce the number of students facing learning difficulties. It provides recommendations for primary schools, secondary schools, and universities to implement interventions and support systems to help struggling students. Abstract:It's up to students themselves whether to engage in learning or not no matter in what kind of learning model. Blended learning has higher requirements on effectively selecting and processsing information, due to the application of multiple media and methods. While Multitasking capacity and information handling capacity of human brain is limited. Three important mechanisms attention, emotion and motivation contribute to the prioritization and selection of information. Therefore, how to improve attention, positive emotion and motivation is of vital importance. Attentional control ability decides attention level and emotional intelligence decides emotional state. This study investigated the attentional control ability level, motivation level and emotional intelligence of 1860 primary school pupils in China and relationship among them. The result found that: there's significant differences among different groups in motivation, emotional intelligence and attentional control ability and significant relationship was found among them. This research facilitates us to have a deeper understanding of factors that influence students' cognition process and help to provide better learning experience in blended learning.

Abstract:During the teaching and learning process, the teachers must bring students' attention to themselves. The purpose of this study is to investigate the methods that student teachers employ during their classroom teaching practicum to attract their pupils' attention. Researchers used the classroom observation method to investigate each strategy utilized by student teachers. During the observation, student teachers used a combination of verbal and nonverbal strategies to get the students' attention; however, there needs to be follow-up on all of these methods. The conditions, including the level of loudness in the classroom, are why the student teachers had to keep using the same tactics. Clapping and sussing are the most effective methods for obtaining students' attention because of the ease with which it may be transferred to students.

Abstract:Teacher feedback is an essential component of classroom communication, optimizing the teaching process, and achieving harmonious unity between teaching and learning. Therefore, teachers should timely update their teaching concepts, adopt different feedback modes in order to cultivate students’ learning interests, enhance their learning motivation, establish their confidence, stimulate their potential, and promote their comprehensive development. Based on an overview of the definition, types, and functions of teacher feedback, this paper analyzes the problems of English teacher classroom feedback in China and proposes corresponding optimizing strategies, including improving teachers’ feedback knowledge literacy, enhancing feedback usage ability, embodying the concept of “student-centered” and so on.
