Abstract:SOC (System-on-chip) is one kind of large scale and complex IC driven by high clock frequency. The traditional method of externally providing power to SOC can not guarantee its proper operation because of the unstable external power supply. Accordingly, a scheme is proposed to integrate a power resource management module into SOC to manage the external power resource dynamically as to supply SOC chip with stable power, detect the low voltage and protect the data in RAM from losing. Design methodology of power management module is also given. Circuit simulation result shows that the variation of output voltage of proposed power resource management module is within 0.2592V when external power supply changes from 3.6V to 2.7V.

Abstract:Power management system is a critical component of the system which needs Li-Ion battery packs for power supply. This paper proposes a fully-integrated, high- precision and high-reliability Integrated Circuit (IC) for power management system of Li-Ion battery packs. It has full protection circuits including over-voltage, over-temperature and over-current with measuring voltage accuracy of 0.5 mV, and a 14-bit internal successive approximation register analog- to-digital converter (SAR ADC) with 0.6 mV accuracy. This IC is designed to protect the system automatically and measure the battery cells' voltage, temperature, and charging or discharging current with high precision. It also provides an I 2 C interface to communicate with an external Micro Controller Unit (MCU), making it achievable to perform battery cells' voltage balancing and SOC estimation with 0.1% estimation accuracy in an hour.

Abstract:Remote power-supply technology and its states and foreground in modern application on network communication facilities were introduced.A new surveillant block design strategy with high compatibility and modularized was proposed.The structure of remote power-supply system,the hardware design scheme and software strategy on power-management of the power-distribution manager were presented.Experimental results indicate that the new design improves the efficiency of surveillance on the facilities under control,and realizes power distribution with accuracy and intelligence.

Abstract:A LED lighting system which can automatically switch and regulate its brightness of lighting according to the light intensity,infrared radiation and temperature was presented.C8051F020 MCU was used as the system controlling core.A silicon photovoltaic cell and an integrated operational amplifier were used to design the light intensity sensor.A pyroelectric module was selected as the infrared wireless sensor,and DS18B20 was used as the temperature sensor.Besides,a LCD was used to display the working information.Experimental results show that the system can automatically shut down when light intensity is above 2 170lx or when temperature is above 82.5 ℃,and switch on when light intensityls below 1 040 lx or when temperature is below 49.3 ℃.When the light intensity is fluctuates from 1 000 lx to 2 000lx,the brightness of the LED lighting system can automatically adjust to maintain the basic stability of the environment illumination.

Abstract:Aimed at overcoming the existing defects of the large volume of wiring work, high cost and poor safety etc. in power electronic monitoring based on wired communication modes, a wireless monitoring system based on ZigBee technology is proposed with the characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, short time delay and high reliability. This system employs microprocessor DSP and ZigBee module SZ05 to realize wireless communication, and the structure of the communication network and the design process of hardware and software are introduced in this paper combined with an engineering project. This wireless monitoring system is proved to be of good stability by practice and meets the requirement of power electronic monitoring.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a self-aware dynamic power management system, which is used to decrease the power consumption of the SoC system without performance cost by adjusting the working state of the SoC system dynamically. This dynamical working state adjustment is performed by the hardware automatically according to the feedback of the monitor module and the adjustment strategy configured by software in advance. This dynamic power management system is able to adjust the working state not only between different applications, but also between different stages in the same application if the occupancy of resources is changed. The adjustment is flexible and real-time.

Abstract:Power management is important for a mobile system relying on battery power, to achieve the efficient use of the power supply modules and intelligent monitoring. In this paper, some efficient LDO and switching powers are selected and high- performance STM32H743 chip are used to perform different power-on sequences. In addition, the relevant power supply parameters are monitored and controlled by using relays, voltage and current sensors. The test results show that the system has the characteristics of low heat dissipation, low power consumption, high security, long battery life and high reliability. This system effectively solves the backward comprehensive performance index and weak universality of the traditional power supply combination.

Abstract:Recent progress on electronic systems is forcing higher level integration in switching-power-supply chips. The most notable requirements are those involving size, weight and energy efficiency. New government energy-efficiency programs are further reshaping switching-power-supply designs. One of the first integrated switchers on the market was Power Integrations′ Topswitch family. The devices combine a high-voltage (up to 700 V) power MOSFET with a lowvoltage analog and digital controller in a three-terminal device. The internal functions that have been integrated into the controller include the oscillator, start-up bias-current source,cycle-by-cycle current limit, pulse width modulator (PWM), thermal shutdown, auto-restart and gate driver. This paper analysis its internal circuitry basing on reverse engineering and computer simulation. And also give a typical application of Topswitch device.

Abstract:In the design of portable ECG monitor,MCU is an important factor influences the power consumption of the system,so choosing a low power MCU is very important to reduce the system power consumption.The C8051F040 is a MCU with low power supply,high integration,high-speed 8-bit CIP51 core,so it has great advantages in low-power system design.In our system,we take some hardware and software measures to lower the power consumption,the power consumption reduction close to 30 %.

Abstract:This paper proposes a novel programmable power monitor chip. With only three program pins and without any off-chip devices, the chip has 36-program states by taking different connections for the 3-program pins. The chip can monitor the voltage from 1.5v to 5.0v with 0.1v step. Special SH circuit and current limited digital blocks are employed to achieve ultra low quiescent power. The implementation is based on 2M1P 0.5um mixed signal process, the die area is 0.24mm2, and the quiescent current is only 3uA.

Abstract:The communication interface of power electronic building blocks(PEBBs) was analyzed and designed to realize the interconnection of PEBBs.Taking the control system of three-phase voltage source inverter(VSI) as an example,the system was divided into five interfaces,and each interface's transfer variant and communication bandwidth were calculated.According to each interface's bandwidth,the partition of communication system was determined based on the demand of power electronic system integration.The PEBBs' communication interfaces were designed using USB interface,and the PEBBs based three-phase VSI was also designed.The result of verification example shows that the design of PEBBs' communication interface and the partition of communication system can satisfy the demand of power electronic system integration.This partition can be used to design the PEBBs' communication interface adopting various interfaces.

Abstract:Abstract The application of microprocessors in automation and industry has become more and more extensive, especially the application of embedded microcontroller technology has promoted the development of UPS design. This paper designs an embedded uninterruptible power supply system with adjustable output based on STM32, and uses PID algorithm to optimize the control strategy. The advantage of this system is that the output is adjustable and has high precision, the circuit structure is simple, the output power efficiency is high, the system is small in size, and the cost is low, while the stability and safety of the system are guaranteed.

Abstract:With the increasing number of electrical equipment in the home, the safety of household appliances, electricity statistics and remote transmission of information are becoming more and more important. In order to solve this problem, this paper uses STM32F103C8T6 single chip microcomputer as the main control chip to design an intelligent socket system which can measure the power consumption, and display the power consumption information locally, and control the wireless communication with the mobile phone through GSM. The intelligent socket system adopts low power supply, and the collection of power consumption is completed by current transformer ZMCT103C. The communication mode of the system is GSM communication, and the user can plug in the intelligent plug through the mobile phone APP at any place. The system sends text messages to control on-off and timing, so as to achieve the need to save electricity. In this paper, the system software is designed, and the mainstream diagram of the system and the flow chart of the main control modules are given. Finally, the measurement and actual power consumption data of the system are given, and the physical diagram of the system is given. After various tests, the system has the advantages of high reliability and strong measurement and control function, and can be widely used in smart home control system.
Design of DC Power Supply Control System Based on Single Chip Microcontroller

Abstract:the traditional DC power supply system is usually to control the output voltage according to the difference between the output voltage value and the benchmark value of the power supply, which is difficult to achieve and easy to be affected by the parameters, resulting in low control accuracy. This paper presents a power supply output voltage control method based on single chip microcomputer. SCM selects a cost-effective STC89C52 SCM, and the output voltage is collected through a voltage sensor. The voltage signal is transmitted to the SCM via the A/D converter. The LCD screen uses RT12864 and is connected with a single chip microcomputer. The single chip control results are transmitted to the RT12864 LCD for display. A / D conversion circuit is used to convert the output piezoelectric signal collected into a digital signal. The power supply output voltage is controlled by the single chip microcomputer controlling the A/D conversion circuit. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high control precision and robustness.

Abstract:The remote level monitoring system with single chip computer C8051F021 as the core of hardware circuit of embedded system is researched.The remote level monitoring system suitable for industrial control is developed with Small RTOS51 as embedded operating system,and level of water tank as the object;the remote communication between C8051F032 and PC is implemented through using ZNE-100PT.The experiments indicate that the efficiency of the processor is enhanced in the system;and the developing period of software is shortened.The stability,reliability and maintainability of the control system have been improved.
