Abstract:For Protues of abundant simulation models of component and the powerful function of simulation,a new way is presented to A/D conversion of MCU.The diagram schematics are figured out by making use of ADC0808 chip,AT89C52 and 7SEG displayer,and tests are given on the simulation by integrating Keil software,simulation effect of circuit can be observed in a direct and clear way.That reaches the aim of design.
A Novel Data Processing Circuit in High-Speed Serial Communication

Abstract:A novel data processing circuit in high-speed serial communication has been demonstrated in this work. The circuit, including a serializer and a frequency divider, was developed to convert the transmission signals into the desired format. The chip design is based on TSMC 0.25μm mixed signal model, and semi-custom design methodology is used. Pre- and post-layout simulation results indicated that the speed of circuit has reached 480MHz. Moreover, the data are processed properly in agreement with USB2.0 specification.

Abstract:A multi-bit quantized high performance sigma-delta (Sigma-Delta) audio DAC is presented. Compared to its single-bit counterpart, the multi-bit quantization offers many advantages, such as simpler Sigma-Delta modulator circuit, lower clock frequency and smaller spurious tones. With the data weighted average (DWA) mismatch shaping algorithm, element mismatch errors induced by multi-bit quantization can be pushed out of the signal band, hence the noise floor inside the signal band is greatly lowered. To cope with the crosstalk between digital and analog circuits, every analog component is surrounded by a guard ring, which is an innovative attempt. The 18-bit DAC with the above techniques, which is implemented in a 0.18 mu m mixed-signal CMOS process, occupies a core area of 1.86 mm(2). The measured dynamic range (DR) and peak SNDR are 96 dB and 88 dB, respectively.

Abstract:The pipelined ADC can keep high speed and low power consumption when it achieves high conversion accuracy, it can compromise between speed, conversion accuracy, power consumption and chip area. It is very suitable to be used in system integration and portable devices. This paper presents a novel pipelined analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Based on 0.35 μm BiCMOS process, the design is verified using the sample frequency of 250 MHz. The results show that signal to noise ratio (SNR) and Spurious Free dynamic range (SFDR) can reach 46-dB and 64.8-dB respectively. The power consumption of the key A/D circuit is 118 mW when the supply voltage is 3.3 V.

Abstract:The logic design of a high speed multiplier used in the ASIC for the 60 channel 32Kb/s ADPCM converter was presented. The ways to promote the operation speed were discussed. Through optimum design, the multiplier is of high speed, the circuits are not complicated, and the techniques to produce the chip are simple.

Abstract:A 14-bit 500-MS/s and 1-GS/s configurable pipelined Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) is implemented in 28 nm CMOS. The ADC leverages dither and correlation-based background digital calibration techniques to correct the interstage gain and settling errors. A dithering technique is employed to inject a large dither signal to randomize residual non-linearity in the pipelined ADC. In order to speed up the correlation-based calibration, a variable-step-size LMS algorithm is used to extract the error coefficients. An optional interleaved mode is provided, where the two ADCs on a chip are time-interleaved to realize a single 14-bit 1 GS/s ADC. After calibration, the ADC achieves a 61.64 dB SNDR and 71.83 dB SFDR at 1 GS/s sample rate. The chip occupies 6 mm <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> area and consumes 1.4 W at 2.0/1.0 V supplies.

Abstract:The factors that impact the accuracy and stability of traditional dual-slope integrating A/D converter are analyzed.The operational principle and circuit implementation of MCU-controlled A/D converting technology that eliminate those impactions are introduced.This converting technology assures the accuracy and stability of conversion of analog signal inputs in multiple measuring range by low cost measures,and easy implementation of electrical isolation with high cost effectiveness.It can be widely used for digital measuring instruments and industrial data acquisition.

Abstract:In consideration of the higher and higher requirement of data acquisition precision and speed on the ultrasonic measuring distance system recently,at the same time,the simple interface circuit and high reliability was also required,a high-speed data acquisition system used in collecting ultrasonic echo signals was designed and implemented.This system takes the master-control unit with TMS320F2812,takes AD7674 as the high-speed ADC,takes the data transmission con-nection by SPI.Through the research of TMS320F2812 and the AD7674 SPI succession and controls register,it gave the method of disposing the SPI pattern correctly and the controlled process,and solved the critical path of the signal integrity problems.Actual trial shows that in 40kHz ultrasonic ranging system,the error is not more than 2mm,the blind controlled is less than 1cm,it meets the high-precision ultrasonic echo ranging system signal acquisition needs.

Abstract:A 10-bit 30-Msample/s pipelined analog-to-digital converter is designed and implemented in a 0.6μm CMOS technology. Sampling capacitors scaling technique is employed to reduce the power dissipation. The digital correction technique is used to relax the offset requirement of the comparators. A sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA) is also used to improve the signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SNDR) performance and the linearity of ADC. The simulation and experiment results reveal that the ADC designed with this method achieves the SNDR of 58dB or the ENOB of 9.34 at full speed of 30MHz when input frequency is 7MHz. Furthermore, the ADC consumes only 50mW power at 5V supply voltage with a low power operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) and the dynamic comparators. © 2005 IEEE.

Abstract:This paper describes a 10 bit 50MSample/s dual mode CMOS D/A Converter fabricated in a 1μm CMOS technology.One mode is normal,another is power\|save mode,in which a modified look\|ahead circuit is designed to reduce power.The D/A converter has been fabricated by using single\|poly double\|metal standard digital process.The integral non\|linearity error is less than 0 46LSB,and the differential non\|linearity error is less than 0 03LSB in the power\|saving mode.The settling time to ±0 1% is less than 20ns.This D/A converter has a single power supply of 5V,and dissipates 250mW at 50MS/s when the input is 1023,while 20mW when input is zero.The circuit chip size is 1 8mm×2 4mm.

Abstract:A front-end circuit with 16-channel 12-bit 100-kSps RC-hybrid successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to digital converter (ADC) for industrial monitoring application is presented. The front-end circuit can process a wide range input voltage as large as 10 V which is beyond the supply voltage, with the help of voltage divider preceding an analog multiplexer. A programmable gain amplifier (PGA) is used to convert different input voltage ranges into a same one. A RC hybrid digital-to analog converter (DAC) is employed in SAR ADC to avoid calibration requirement for the bridge capacitor which is usually needed for a split capacitor SAR ADC architecture. Serial peripheral interface (SPI) is integrated in the design for communication and configuration. The prototype circuit fabricated in a 0.18 um 3.3 V CMOS process shows the measured DNI, and IN1, within-0.821+0.68 LSB and-0.851+0.82 1,SR, respectively. The circuit consumes 2.04 mVV with a 3.3 V supply voltage. The whole chip occupies an area of 1.844 x 1.387 mm(2).

Abstract:An 18-bit 48 kHz Δ-Σ D/A converter for digital audio application is designed.For the interpolator,multiplier-free and time division multiplex mode are used to reduce the hardware overhead.The Δ-Σ modulator employs a 5~(th)-order 1-bit quantization loop,and a 100 dB in-band SNR was achieved on FPGA platform.The post switched capacitor(SC) filter was implemented in CSMC's 0.6 μm CMOS process.The core chip occupies an area of 1.73 mm×1.11 mm,and it consumes less than 22 mW of power from a single 5 V supply voltage.

Abstract:Objective To develop a digital temperature sampling system.Methods This system was one of non-electrical bridge device made up of platinum resistance Pt100 and A/D converter MAX1415.Results By the means of practical testing,the system ran well and was applied in the cooperation project in Department of Cardiology of General Hospital of PLA.Heating range was from room temperature to 300℃ and temperature control accuracy was ±0.05 ℃ for design requirement.Conclusion With the characteristics,of stable operation and the convenient design of software and hardware,the application of instrument has a bright future in the market.
