Abstract:For $n$ positive numbers ($a_k$, $1\leq k \leq n$), enhanced inequalities about the arithmetic mean ($A_n \equiv \frac{\sum_ka_k}{n}$) and the geometric mean ($G_n\equiv \sqrt[n]{\Pi_ka_k}$) are found if some numbers are known, namely, \begin{equation} \frac{G_n}{A_n} \leq (\frac{n-\sum_{k=1}^mr_k}{n-m})^{1-\frac{m}{n}}(\Pi_{k=1}^mr_k)^{\frac{1}{n}} \:, \nonumber \end{equation} if we know $a_k=A_nr_k$ ($1\leq k\leq m\leq n$) for instance, and \begin{equation} \frac{G_n}{A_n} \leq \frac{1}{(1-\frac{m}{n})\Pi_{k=1}^mr_k^{\frac{-1}{n-m}}+\frac{1}{n}\sum_{k=1}^mr_k} \: ,\nonumber \end{equation} if we know $a_k=G_nr_k$ ($1\leq k\leq m \leq n$) for instance. These bounds are better than those derived from S.~H.~Tung's work [1].

Abstract:Based on collection of bijections, variable and function are extended into ``isomorphic variable'' and ``dual-variable-isomorphic function'', then mean values such as arithmetic mean and mean of a function are extended to ``isomorphic means''. 7 sub-classes of isomorphic mean of a function are distinguished. Comparison problems of isomorphic means are discussed. A sub-class(class V) of isomorphic mean of a function related to Cauchy mean value is utilized for generation of bivariate means e.g. quasi-Stolarsky means. Demonstrated as an example of math related to ``isomorphic frames'', this paper attempts to unify current common means into a better extended family of means.

Abstract:In the current note, we investigate the mathematical relations among the weighted arithmetic mean-geometric mean (AM-GM) inequality, the Hölder inequality and the weighted power-mean inequality. Meanwhile, the proofs of mathematical equivalence among the weighted AM-GM inequality, the weighted power-mean inequality and the Hölder inequality are fully achieved. The new results are more generalized than those of previous studies.

Abstract:Using the result of the error estimate of the simple extended Newton method established in the present paper for solving abstract inequality systems, we study the error bound property of approximate solutions of abstract inequality systems on Banach spaces with the involved function F being Fréchet differentiable and its derivative F^' satisfying the center-Lipschitz condition (not necessarily the Lipschitz condition) around a point x 0 . Under some mild conditions, we establish results on the existence of the solutions, and the error bound properties for approximate solutions of abstract inequality systems. Applications of these results to finite/infinite systems of inequalities/equalities on Banach spaces are presented and the error bound properties of approximate solutions of finite/infinite systems of inequalities/equalities are also established. Our results extend the corresponding results in [ 3 , 18 , 19 ].

Abstract:In this paper, we give a unified generalization of the Gini means and Heronian means. The Schur-geometric convexity of the generalized Gini-Heronian means are investigated. Our result generalizes an earlier result given by Shi et al. (J. Inequal. Appl. 2008:879273, 2008).
