Abstract:Let (X, tau(1)) and (Y, tau(2)) be two Hausdorff locally convex spaces with continuous duals X, and Y', respectively, L (X, Y) be the space of all continuous linear operators from X into Y, K (X, Y) be the space of all compact operators of L (X, Y). Let WOT and UOT be the weak operator topology and uniform operator topology on K (X, Y), respectively. In this paper, we characterize a full-invariant property of K (X, Y); that is, if the sequence space X has the signed-weak gliding hump property, then each; lambda-multiplier WOT-convergent series Sigma(i) T-i in K(X, Y) must be X-multiplier convergent with respect to all topologies between WOT and UOT if and only if each continuous linear operator T: (X, tau(1)) --> or (lambda(beta), sigma(lambda(beta),lambda)) is compact. Abstract:The notions of a ''weak group entwining structure'' and an ''invertible weak group entwining structure'' are introduced. Furthermore, the relationship between them and group corings is also investigated. It turns out that (weak) group entwining structures and (weak) group entwined modules can be viewed as group corings and comodules over group corings, respectively, which generalizes the recent work of Brzezinski (2002) and Brzezinski et al. (2006).

Abstract:This article introduces a weak pseudo-inverse of a monotone function, which is applied to prove that the associativity of a two-place function $T: [0,1]^2\rightarrow [0,1]$ defined by $T(x,y)=t^{[-1]}(F(t(x),t(y)))$ where $F:[0,\infty]^2\rightarrow[0,\infty]$ is an associative function with neutral element in $[0,\infty]$, $t: [0,1]\rightarrow [0,\infty]$ is a left continuous monotone function and $t^{[-1]}:[0,\infty]\rightarrow[0,1]$ is the weak pseudo-inverse of $t$ depends only on properties of the range of $t$.

Abstract:The weak dominance relation between two binary operations was introduced as an extension of the dominance relation and the modularity equation. This paper continues the study of the weak dominance between t-norms and t-conorms. First, we present the characterization of the weak dominance of a nilpotent t-norm over a continuous Archimedean t-norm. Second, we establish the generalized sufficient and necessary conditions for the weak dominance of continuous t-norms over continuous t-norms. Finally, we obtain a generalized characterization of a continuous t-conorm weakly dominating a continuous t-norm by showing that SM weakly dominates any t-norm.

Abstract:We first introduce the definitions of weak semi-Hopf group coalgebras, weak group entwining structures and weak group coalgebra Galois extensions, then we state that any weak group coalgebra. Galois extension induces a weak group entwining map compatible with the right group coaction. Notice that when the group is trivial our results axe just those of weak entwining structures in [3], at the same time they are also a generalization of group coalgebra Galois extensions and group entwining structures introduced by Shuan-hong Wang in [9].

Abstract:The weak tightness $wt(X)$ of a space $X$ was introduced in [11] with the property $wt(X)\leq t(X)$. We investigate several well-known results concerning $t(X)$ and consider whether they extend to the weak tightness setting. First we give an example of a non-sequential compactum $X$ such that $wt(X)=\aleph_0<t(X)$ under $2^{\aleph_0}=2^{\aleph_1}$. In particular, this demonstrates the celebrated Balogh's Theorem [5] does not hold in general if countably tight is replaced with weakly countably tight. Second, we introduce the notion of an S-free sequence and show that if $X$ is a homogeneous compactum then $|X|\leq 2^{wt(X)\pi_\chi(X)}$. This refines a theorem of De la Vega [12]. In the case where the cardinal invariants involved are countable, this also represents a variation of a theorem of Juhász and van Mill [15]. Third, we show that if $X$ is a $T_1$ space, $wt(X)\leq\kappa$, $X$ is $\kappa^+$-compact, and $\psi(\overline{D},X)\leq 2^\kappa$ for any $D\subseteq X$ satisfying $|D|\leq 2^\kappa$, then a) $d(X)\leq 2^\kappa$ and b) $X$ has at most $2^\kappa$-many $G_\kappa$-points. This is a variation of another theorem of Balogh [6]. Finally, we show that if $X$ is a regular space, $\kappa=L(X)wt(X)$, and $\lambda$ is a caliber of $X$ satisfying $\kappa<\lambda\leq \left(2^{\kappa}\right)^+$, then $d(X)\leq 2^{\kappa}$. This extends of theorem of Arhangel'skii [3].

Abstract:A topological system (X,f) is F-transitive if for each pair of opene subsets U and V of X, Nf(U,V)={n∈Z+:fnU∩V≠∅}∈F, where F is a collection of subsets of Z+ which is hereditary upward. (X,f) is F-mixing if (X×X,f×f) is F-transitive. In this paper F-mixing systems are characterized in terms of the chaoticity of the systems. Moreover, weak disjointness is studied via family. We will give conditions such that a dual theorem of the Weiss–Akin–Glasner theorem holds. Examples with this dual theorem fails for some “good” families are obtained.

Abstract:We introduce a weakening of the notion of fusion 2-category given in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1812.11933" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1812.11933">arXiv:1812.11933</a>. Then, we establish a number of properties of (multi)fusion 2-categories. Finally, we describe the fusion rule of the fusion 2-categories associated to certain pointed braided fusion categories.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of weak containment for stationary actions of a countable group and define a natural topology on the space of weak equivalence classes. We prove that Furstenberg entropy is an invariant of weak equivalence, and moreover that it descends to a continuous function on the space of weak equivalence classes.

Abstract:We study the relationship between a notion of conjunction among conditional events, introduced in recent papers, and the notion of Frank t-norm. By examining different cases, in the setting of coherence, we show each time that the conjunction coincides with a suitable Frank t-norm. In particular, the conjunction may coincide with the Product t-norm, the Minimum t-norm, and Lukasiewicz t-norm. We show by a counterexample, that the prevision assessments obtained by Lukasiewicz t-norm may be not coherent. Then, we give some conditions of coherence when using Lukasiewicz t-norm.

Among other things, it is proved that the measure algebra M(G) of a locally compact group G is always weakly Connes amenable. Abstract:We incorporate strong negation in the theory of computable functionals TCF, a common extension of Plotkin's PCF and Gödel's system $\mathbf{T}$, by defining simultaneously strong negation $A^{\mathbf{N}}$ of a formula $A$ and strong negation $P^{\mathbf{N}}$ of a predicate $P$ in TCF. As a special case of the latter, we get strong negation of an inductive and a coinductive predicate of TCF. We prove appropriate versions of the Ex falso quodlibet and of double negation elimination for strong negation in TCF. We introduce the so-called tight formulas of TCF i.e., formulas implied from the weak negation of their strong negation, and the relative tight formulas. We present various case-studies and examples, which reveal the naturality of our definition of strong negation in TCF and justify the use of TCF as a formal system for a large part of Bishop-style constructive mathematics.

Abstract:The notion of weak tiling was a key ingredient in the proof of Fuglede's spectral set conjecture for convex bodies \cite{conv}, due to the fact that every spectral set tiles its complement weakly with a suitable Borel measure. In this paper we review the concept of weak tiling, and answer a question raised in \cite{weak} by giving an example of a set $T$ which tiles its complement weakly, but $T$ is neither spectral, nor a proper tile.

Abstract:Consider a topological dynamical system $(X, T)$ endowed with the metric $d$. We introduce a novel function as $\overline{BF}(x, y) = \limsup_{n-m \rightarrow +\infty} \inf_{\sigma \in S_{n,m}} \frac{1}{n-m} \sum_{k=m}^{n-1} d\left(T^{k} x, T^{\sigma(k)} y\right)$, where the permutation group $S_{n,m}$ is utilized. It is demonstrated that $BF(x, y)$ exists when $x, y \in X$ are uniformly generic points. Leveraging this function, we introduce the concept of weak Banach mean equicontinuity and establish that the dynamical system $(X, T)$ exhibits weak Banach mean equicontinuity if and only if the uniform time averages $f_B^{*}(x) = \lim_{n-m \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{1}{n-m} \sum_{k=m}^{n-1} f\left(T^{k} x\right)$ are continuous for all $f \in C(X)$. Finally, we demonstrate that in the case of a transitive system, the equivalence between weak Banach mean equicontinuity and weak mean equicontinuity is established.

Confluence Modulo Equivalence with Invariants in Constraint Handling Rules

Abstract:Confluence denotes the property of a state transition system that states can be rewritten in more than one way yielding the same result. Although it is a desirable property, confluence is often too strict in practical applications because it also considers states that can never be reached in practice. Additionally, sometimes states that have the same semantics in the practical context are considered as different states due to different syntactic representations. By introducing suitable invariants and equivalence relations on the states, programs may have the property to be confluent modulo the equivalence relation w.r.t. the invariant which often is desirable in practice. In this paper, a sufficient and necessary criterion for confluence modulo equivalence w.r.t. an invariant for Constraint Handling Rules (CHR) is presented. It is the first approach that covers invariant-based confluence modulo equivalence for the de facto standard semantics of CHR. There is a trade-off between practical applicability and the simplicity of proving a confluence property. Therefore, a better manageable subset of equivalence relations has been identified that allows for the proposed confluence criterion and and simplifies the confluence proofs by using well established CHR analysis methods.
