Abstract:The paper propose an ideal model to develop one semiconductor manufacturing planning and control system. which named Smart Adaptive Production Control System (SAPC). SAPC is a powerful executive tool for effective decision-making. It enables the planner to take into consideration every single detail in his decision-making process, and yet takes up only less than a fifth of the time he normally consumed. All information required in decision-making process is integrated into one single processing module (SAPC). With the implementation of this system, the planner will be able to determine the "direction" of focus for the whole line by defining the preset options. The flow of information between the planner and SAPC also allows fine-tuning of the desired output from the system before implementing the plan into the line.
