This paper gives a brief analysis of its essential features from such three aspects as the excellency of the appreciators, the emotionality and the opening of the appreciation process.

Abstract:The expression of artistic language is one of the most important conditions in the creation of oil paintings. Good works are not limited to subject matter, technique and composition, but more importantly, the artist's conversion of artistic language in his works. Only through the art logic summed up through practice and the unique art language system established by ourselves can we create excellent works of art. Today, with rapid changes, oil paintings are not only presented in museums and art galleries, but also gradually appear in people's lives. The unique charm of oil paintings is deeply loved by people. In today's multicultural society, fast-paced and diverse cultural life has also promoted the further development of oil painting language. In this paper, the comprehensive display of artistic language in oil painting creation and the in-depth exploration of the potential power of expression forms are used for research, hoping to provide some reference for oil painting career and artistic creation language expression.

Abstract:Functional linguistic research focuses on the dimension of "implementation," with research on "instance" and "individuation" being relatively scarce. However, Appraisal Theory provides a comprehensive method for realizing "instance" and "individuation". Appraisal Theory, as a type of empirical research method with strong capabilities in both operation and application, is heavily involved in a variety of fields such as literature, art, philosophy, news, and law. Overall, research in the arts is deficient. This study employs Appraisal Theory as a framework for analyzing the discourse of art criticism from the perspective of the attitude system, analyzing 83 art critiques chosen for their semantic meaning of emotion and valuation endowed by the writers in critical language. It performs identification, analysis, and classification on corpus resources in order to investigate the application of Appraisal theory in art criticism and summarize representation and feature of these attitudinal resources used. The author concludes that the attitudinal resources all involve affect, judgment, and appreciation, but are distributed unevenly.The feature demonstrates that more appreciation than affect and judgement is involved, more positive meaning than negative meaning is conveyed, and an explicit rather than implicit method is used. According to this study, the attitudinal resources effectively contribute to the establishment of relationships among the writer, artworks, and the potential reader, and they function well in appraisal by establishing a "resonance" relationship between the artwork and the potential reader within person. Abstract:Publisher Philosophers have long sought to specify those features which are unique to the arts—features which define works of art and which set them apart from non-works of art. The attempt to determine the necessary and sufficient features of art has, however, remained hopelessly vexed. Definitions have been criticized for their incompleteness, for example defining art as an 'artifact made with human skill" eliminates found art. If repleteness, expression, and composition are key properties of art objects, then viewers ought to perceive these properties when responding to works of art. Young children produce drawings and metaphors that adults perceive as aesthetically pleasing and also as similar in some respects to the works of twentieth century artists. This chapter focus on one art form—painting—and one aesthetic—expression. Paintings express not only by their content but also by their color, shapes, composition, and texture.

This paper aims to explore the integration of Oriental elements of Impressionism and to reveal the influence of cultural exchange on art movements. The introduction section provides a comprehensive overview of Impressionism, focusing on the research goals that revolve around Oriental aspects. The paper utilises an exhaustive approach, including a literature review, artwork analysis, and examination of historical records, ensuring a thorough exploration of Oriental influences. The structure of this paper acts as a guide for readers, highlighting unique contributions such as exploring little-known Eastern elements and interpreting artworks from new perspectives. By deeply studying the historical background of Impressionism, this paper discusses the interests in Eastern art and its influences on the Western art movement in the 19th century, examines the channels of cultural exchange, and analyses the reception of Oriental elements through case studies. At the same time, the influences of oriental traditions and elements such as brushwork, composition, and calligraphy on the natural depiction, colour application, daily life, symbolism, and character representation of Impressionist paintings are also discussed. In conclusion, this paper summarises the key findings and contributions and emphasises the importance of Oriental elements in Impressionist art.

Abstract:Points, lines and surfaces are the expression forms of painting, while words, phrases and sentences are the expression forms of language. The mutual reference and combination of painting art and language art enriches the expression of literary translation, and makes literary translation, like painting, give full play to its unique aesthetic value and artistic emotion. Based on Liu Miqing's translation aesthetics theory, this paper analyzes the aesthetic object and aesthetic subject of translation, combines the viewpoint of painting language with translation, and discusses the use of painting language in Chinese poetry translated by Arthur Waley from two aspects: the use of lines and the construction of geometric figures, and the reproduction of painting language in poetry translation.

Abstract:The analysis and interpretation of visual language has always been considered as the core problem in art history. In the current interdiscipline context, this problem is introduced into a more complex argument lay. For one thing, the theory of visual culture was born, of which the composition is image symbol and which obtain information and interpretation meaning by visual sense. This owes to the unsatisfactory with unbalanced stress on form by formalist. For another, in the respect of dealing with the relationship between image and language, the different interpretations deduce to confrontation between new and old art histories. The rebuilding of Chinese art history subject must pierce through dichotomy made of thinking, be established in analysis of visual language in works, stick to a principle of inner history first and inner and outer history combining. So the Chinese art history subject can break away from distress and crisis; establish special characteristic and value of its own under the framework of humanities.
