Abstract:In order to meet the requirements of obtaining high-accuracy image edge information of the measured target in the engineering applications. The mechanism of the sub-pixel edge detection method was analyzed. Several sub-pixel edge detection methods were ntroduced, mainly including: Sub-pixel edge detection based on interpolation, fitting-based sub-pixel edge detection based on moments Sub-pixel edge detection, sub-pixel edge based on wavelet transform detection;the advantages and disadvantages of each method were compared through analyzing the principle of each sub-pixel edge detection method.
