Abstract:To solve the problems existing in RTU/Modem mode of power system, such as long transmission delay and high error-rate of remote measured data and by use of the ripe technology of computer network communication, a real-time distributed measuring system for phasor data in power system is built. In this system the Ethernet exchanger and ATM exchanger are used in a coordinated fashion and the defect of uncertain time delay of transmitting data by network communication, which occur under too much sub-measuring units, can be surmounted via full optical fibre channel and by use of TCP/IP protocol and MFC socket, the potentiality of occurring network congestion is eliminated with algorithm and the funneling effect is settled. The presented system can transfer a batch of data in a cycle of power frequency, the communication delay is less than 5ms, thus, using the presented system it is possible to implement real-time monitoring of power system operation status based on the clock signal from GPS.

Abstract:With the development of the Internet technologies and computer communication technologies, the traditionary circuit-switch based network must evolves to the new generation network which is based on the packet-switch technology. Facing the progress and status of the convergence of the three-networks, This document presents a distributed and SIP protocal based VoIP system prototype. Due to combinating of merits of SIP and IP, this model not only provides the interoperation with the existed network, but also provides an extendable plat for the NGN. This model uses private VoIP network to achieve the QoS.

Abstract:With the development of broadband network, the issue of broadband network managing and accounting is becoming more and more important. A good managing and accounting pattern will advance the well-ordered development of broadband network. Through the practice of researching and developing the broadband network managing and accounting system of Yiwu,Zhejiang, we put forward a managing and accounting pattern of broadband network. This paper introduces the network managing and accounting pattern of Yivvu broadband network, and discusses some key technologies of the system.

Abstract:Broadband Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) is a booming branch in the area of wireless communication. The de-sign of the resource allocation and scheduling scheme of the system is in close relation with the whole system performance. A novel resource allocation scheme which can guarantee the QoS is proposed in this paper. The scheme includes the connection access con- trol, the bandwidth request timeslot allocation and data bandwidth allocation. The two-layer scheduling architecture of the scheme can provide different scheduling strategy for services with various QoS grade to guarantee their QoS.

Abstract:WiMAX supports out-of-sight communication in the conditions of wireless broadband access, and is committed to provide low-delay, high-quality voice and data services. WiMAX develops rapidly and would play an important role in the wireless metropolitan area network. WiMAX would occupy a dominant position in the future mobile communications for its location in the metro-class wireless broadband access and its superiorities of wide coverage, distant transmission and high transmission rate. Abstract:Digital Terrestrial Video Broadcasting (DVB-T) provides an ideal means for providing services with both high data rate and high mobility, which exceeds the ability of current existing access technologies like UMTS, WLAN, and so forth. Combined with other media for the uplink as a return channel for user requests and acknowledgement signaling, DVB-T can supply interactive data services. In this paper, we show the architecture of integrated Internet and DVB-T network to provide interactive broadband Internet access services for users with high mobility. In order to fully exploit the valuable broadcast resources and provide services with effective QoS differentiation, we present a bandwidth allocation algorithm SOBAM(Satisfaction Oriented Bandwidth Allocation Method) based on a new concept: user satisfaction. Simulation results prove the good performance of SOBAM, and show that with SOBAM, the integrated Internet and DVB-T network can provide a soft system capacity which is similar to the one in CDMA networks.(1)

Abstract:HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) provides a kind of broadband access way for multimedia and broadband services. The structure and the spectrum allocation scheme of HFC are described. The MAC layer and PHY layer of dual-direction HFC network are analyzed in detail. The upstream channel allocation scheme in MAC and the scenario of PHY in DOCSIS (Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specification) are presented. Finally, The software and hardware designs of CM (Cable Modem) and CMTS (Cable Modem Terminal System) conforming to DOCSIS are given.
