Abstract:In the present paper the regularity of solutions to Dirichlet problem of degenerate elliptic Monge-Ampere equations is studied. Let ohm subset of R-2 be smooth and convex. Suppose that u epsilon C-2(Omega) over bar is a solution to the following problem: de(u(ij)) = K(x) f (x,u,Du) in Omega with u = 0 on partial derivative Omega. Then u epsilon C-infinity(Omega) provided that f (x,u,p) is smooth and positive in (Omega) over bar x O x R x R-2, K > 0 in Omega and near partial derivative Omega, K = d(m)(K) over tilde, where d is the distance to partial derivative Omega, m some integer bigger than 1 and (K) over tilde smooth and positive on (Omega) over tilde.
