Abstract:Some factors affecting the winding yarn hairiness,such as winding frame installation state,operating ect.are analyzed by producing process and testing.The result showed that there are some relations between the winding frame installation state and the winding yarn hairiness,in order to reduce the winding yarn hairiness,retaining the good mechance device first,some processing parameters such as rational process parameters vortex jet nozzle,balloon burst instrument should be rationally selected second.

Abstract:Comparing the crystal orientation of the structure, tensile properties, boiling water shrinkage rate between difference filament rolls in the same spinning position spun by WINGS POY system and tradition ACW POY system, it is found that there are differences in orientation degree, crystallinity, tensile strength, elongation at break, initial modulus and boiling water shrinkage rate between difference filament rolls in the same spinning position. Coefficient of variation of the experimental values of WINGS POY system is lower than traditional ACW POY system.

Abstract:Within the field of fiber, paper making, plastic and metal plating, one of the key techniques to guarantee the product quality is to control the winding tension of linear, strip and area materials. The tension changing pattern and the factors that influence the tension in the filament winding process were analyzed, and a program scheme for calculating the tension control torque was provided. The actual winding results show that the formula drawn is proper and reasonable, and the fluctuation rate of the yarn tension calculated by use of the formula is lower than 5%.

Abstract:As to the increase instead of decrease of fuzzy yarn after winding process,analysis is done to the factors involved with fuzzy yarn.Conclusion is made that fuzzy yarn in winding process is related with variety,performance and operation of winding machines.Winding machines 1332 and GA013 are advantageous over auto-winding machines in less fuzzy yarn.Fuzzy yarn must be be reduced from the bobbin yarn,and measures taken to properly select drag washers,devil catchers,yarn guiding,blow-up ring,balloon controller,balloon blower clearrance as to their specifications.And more,new backset nozzles,new blow-up rings and guiding wheels are indispensable.

Abstract:In order to improve the quality of winding cone and production efficiency of follow-up processing,this paper introduces a kind of yarn winding technology suitable for modern new-type precision winding machine-graduated precision winding technology.This paper carries out theoretical calculation of parameters of graduated precision winding technology and implements overall design of single spindle control system.In theory,the cone processed has the characteristics of even package density,no overlapping and good backing-off performance.This winding technology integrates advantages of both random winding and precision winding.The maximum package diameter of new-type precision winding machine which adopts servo motor as thread-guiding mechanism instead of groove drum can reach 250 mm.Besides,the thread-guiding is 650 per minute;the winding speed can reach 1 000m/min.The finished product has high market value and potential.

Abstract:According to the theories of differential geometry and space geometry, this article proposes a mesh post disposal method of the winding trajectory by applying the doffing points on the mould surface aiming in the fiber winding process. First, the spit points are obtained by the same distance between the spit point and its corresponding doffing point, and then, the machine trajectory can be worked out depending on the coordinate difference between the neighboring spit points. Finally, to validate the feasibility of the mesh post disposal method in disposing the trajectories of both gyration mould and non-gyration mould, two fiber winding experiments on tee shape and combination shape are carried out. Both winding trajectories are realized well by the NC code programmed according to the mesh post disposal.

Abstract:Aiming at the damage that appears in the rolling bearing of the hot drawing roller during the manufacturing process of the polyester industrial yarn,the reasons related with the polyester spinning process,structure of the hot drawing roller and common fault analysis are analyzed.The results show that the main reasons causing the early failure are the special conditions of high temperature,high velocity and changing tension,and the good results are achieved through utilizing the corresponding improvement measures.
Study on a reducing-hairiness nozzle attached on the winding machine

Abstract:A special hairiness-reducing nozzle was attached on a winding machine. The design and attachment of the nozzle should not change the yarn twist and strength. The hairiness-reducing mechanism of the nozzle was analysed, which utilised an air-jet to produce the rotating air stream to perform false twisting, detwisting and wrapping of the yarn so as to wrap the hairiness onto or twist it into the main yarn body, thus reducing the yarn hairiness. The position and method for attaching the nozzle were introduced. The hairiness index, hairiness appearance, twist and strength of the yarn, which was produced by the winding machine attached with the nozzle were examined. The results indicated that the processed yarns have their hairiness index lowered, hairiness appearance improved, and the twist and strength remained unchanged, which verified the hairiness-reducing effect of the nozzle. Fabric pilling property and surface features were measured for fabrics in which the filling yarns were through the winding machine with the nozzle. The results showed that the fabrics had less pilling and a smoother surface.

Abstract:The composite material winding method has become an important technique in composite material processing. This paper describes a careful study of the two composite material winding methods: the parameter winding method (PWM) and the mesh winding method (MWM). Experiments were also carried out on vanes with these two methods. Finally, according to effects of the winding experiments, these two methods were contrasted from the aspects of winding design, linetype programming and winding effects. From the experiments, it can be concluded that compared with the traditional PWM, the MWM has advantages of flexibility, convenience and effectiveness on abnormal material winding.
Study of Manufacture Processing Parameter of High-Performance PBO Fiber Composite

Abstract:PBO fiber composite materials are fabricated to detect manufacture processing parameters, such as epoxy formula system, immerse tension and winding tension so on. The optimum parameter of process is studied, emphasizing on the research of the effect of the impregnated and wound process on the mechanical property of NOL ring composites. The results show that the tension property of poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole (PBO) fiber-reinforced composite is very excellent, but its interlaminar shear strength is low because of its inactive fiber surface. It appears that PBO fiber composite is required for high strength and toughness of epoxy system to develop high and strong characteristic of PBO fiber. When the ratio of winding tension/roving breaking load is 3.5%, the NOL ring measurements indicate that a significant increase in the interlaminar shear strength of up to 29MPa.

Abstract:The influence on the mechanical properties and quality of fiber winding parts is analyzed by use of the winding with 4 coordinate axes,and the significance of the swinging angle B coordinate axis is discussed.The specific path of each coordinate axis is studied for the typical revolving mandrels,ellipsoidal pressure vessels.The fiber winding with 5 coordinate axes is experimental researched,to avoid the twisting and accumulating on the ellipsoidal head in the winding processing with 4 coordinate axes.The changes of yarns path are analyzed through the comparing of winding patterns on the same mandrel between the two kinds of fiber windings.The result of the experiment shows the accumulating on the head in the winding with 5 coordinate axes is preferably settled.

Abstract:To design and manufacture electric machines that are competitive in terms of cost, performance, and efficiency, various parameters must be considered. Winding type selection and manufacturing are among these aspects. The winding needs to be designed optimally according to the electric machine type and application. Choosing the suitable magnet wire is one of the essential steps in winding design and manufacturing. For this purpose, several parameters need to be considered, including the diameter, thermal class, conductor type, and insulation material of the magnet wire. Also, the type and material of the bobbin should be selected properly. The tension applied to the wire during the winding process is an important parameter to achieve perfect layering and a high fill factor. Automatic winding techniques can be chosen according to the winding process requirements and the manufacturing volume. Different steps in the manufacturing process of electric machine coils are investigated in this paper, including the factors that should be taken into account to have a high-quality product. For design-for-manufacturing considerations, the approaches for selecting the proper magnet wire, insulation, bobbin, and layering technique are presented. Finally, different winding techniques are introduced, and their specifications and capabilities are discussed and compared.

Abstract:Textile Research Journal, Ahead of Print. The synthetic filament winder drives the filament through the traverse mechanism with rotary wings so that it can complete the transverse reciprocating motion when it is continuously wound and achieve the spiral distribution on the cylindrical package. When the existing traverse mechanism leads the filament, the filament is easy to oscillate and breaks away from the control of the rotary blade during the reversing process at both ends of the package, which directly affects its forming on the package. In this study, firstly, the filament leading process is analyzed from the filament leading principle of the traverse mechanism with rotary wings and the key points of the profile are identified. Secondly, we applied parameter constraints of key points and developed a blade profile that can not only meet the demand of filament reversing but also improve the above abnormal phenomena by curve-fitting, so that the blade can continuously and stably lead and control the filament during the reversing process. Finally, through the actual winding experiment, we contrasted the state of the filament leading process of the original blades with the improved blades, and verified the improvement effect. This study provides a design basis and optimization reference for realizing a smooth and stable relay between the filament and blades.

Abstract:The present invention discloses a conductive tops polyester production process, the following process steps: a tow filament bundling → → finished tow was cut into a strip gill → → → two gill gill into a ball, the filament bundle in the process, in polyester filament conductive fiber as raw material, first, after the second bundle of polyester to give a single strand of conductive strands; in the finished tow step, first, the plurality of conductive strands through a single strand of polyester tension roller and the tension roller set groups on tensioning and re-bundling the tow to obtain a conductive polyester, conductive polyester tow is then cooled at room temperature after the first passage drafting roller set, the first oil bath, the second track drafting roller set, the second secondary oil bath, the third passage drafting roller set, preheating, crimping, heat setting, the finished product obtained after the completion of heat setting the tow and closed at a drum. Using the conductive fine tops polyester obtained by the method according to the present invention, antistatic properties, durability, and other common fiber cohesion, and easy blended or interwoven.

Abstract:Winding is an integral operation in almost every roll-to-roll system and the center-wound roll is one of the suitable and general schemes in a winding mechanism. The quality and performance of a center-wound roll are known to be related to the winding tension. In this paper, a novel optimization design method for winding tension using a special network structure is proposed. Firstly, based on the elasticity theory, the correlations between winding tension in the winding section and hoop stress distribution within a center-wound roll are analyzed. In addition, an analysis model for the residual stress due to the winding tension profile is developed. Then, according to the analysis model, the special network structure with back propagation training is developed to minimize the error of lateral residual stress, namely isostress-distribution. Finally, the experimental prototype of a roll-to-roll packaging system for glass-fiber fabric that can measure and control the winding tension is described, and actual experiments were carried out. Results show that the proposed method is very useful for determining the desirable taper-tension profile during the winding process and preventing defects of the center-wound roll.

Abstract:From dry fibres to towpregs; important parameters to be considered during manufacturing and usage. In the field of textile technology, this study centers on towpreg—an integral component utilized in production techniques like tape laying and filament winding. Here, fibers are pre‐coated with resin, typically epoxy but not exclusively. Notably, towpreg retains a partially cured state, maintaining tackiness throughout the processing stages. The ultimate quality of the product manufactured with this towpreg is highly dependent on this initial material. This research highlights the importance of considering various factors that impact product quality. While not exhaustive, a systematic analysis of diverse towpreg parameters, including tack, resin content, and width, is provided. The work encompasses findings, challenges, and insights derived from towpreg manufacturing, incorporating the investigation of various experimental methodologies. The study also evaluates methodologies for laminated coupon production with towpreg, assessing their applicability in characterizing filament‐wound components. Although the article seems like a review, the authors aim to give a clear and holistic picture in one work instead of spreading information across many articles. Highlights Techniques for the quantification of towpreg tack are presented. Resin content distribution along towpreg length is presented. Towpreg width variation was investigated, seen to be one of the major causes for the gaps and voids in a filament wound composite. Coupon‐level characterization of towpreg through filament winding approach is presented. Other filament winding parameters influencing the quality of the manufactured composite are discussed.

Abstract:Poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole)(PBO) was prepared by means of dry-jet wet spinning.Some main processing parameters were discussed,such as concentration of spinning solution,temperature,pressure and stretch ratio.The effects of these parameters on the properties of PBO fibers were analyzed.The results show that with the increase of polymer solution concentration,molecular weight and tensile strength of the PBO fibers rise;the optimum spinning temperature is 160~180 ℃;the higher pressure is favorable for spinning,and the bigger stretch ratio is favorable for improving the properties of the PBO fibers.

Abstract:By repeated experiments,the factors of causing yarn hairiness were discussed and analyzed,which indicates some certain relations between semi-finished products and yarn hairiness.To reduce yarn hairiness,the processing parameters in fore-spinning should be fixed firstly;and processing parameters of raw materials,drawing process and roving with good quality should be properly chosen.

Abstract:The invention relates to a two-way yarn discharging device, in particular to a special two-way yarn discharging device for a tower winding machine, and aims to solve the problem that the winding efficiency of the conventional one-way straight-bar type yarn discharging system is influenced as yarn distribution is not uniform during large yarn-amount winding and frequent change of direction is needed during winding at a small winding angle. A driving device (1) is mounted at the upper part of a box body (6), and a turning device (3) is mounted at the lower part of the box body (6) and positioned under the driving device (1). A plurality of turning support devices (5) are uniformly distributed on the outer wall on the circumference of the turning device (3) and mounted on the box body (6). Both a rear yarn gathering device (2) and the two-way yarn discharging device (4) are mounted on the box body (6) and positioned at the left end and the right end of the turning device (3). The two-way yarn discharging device is used for tower winding.
