Abstract:Based on the analysis and investigation of calibration systems for high-accuracy low temperature thermometers, a new facility for automatic calibration of high-accuracy low temperature thermometers was developed. Continuous calibration for multiple points can be made automatically with this device. According to the thermophysical characteristics of the constant-temperature block in this device, segmented Fuzzy-PID (proportional-integral-differential) algorithm was applied. The experimental results showed that the temperature fluctuation was smaller than ±0.005 K in 30 min. Therefore, this new device can fully meet the calibration requirement of high-precision low temperature thermometers.

Abstract:Aimed at a systemic research on temperature distribution in tank of fermentable liquid and developing a wall temperature measurement transmitter which was demanded by industry such as beer and pharmacy, a new practical multi-point temperature collection system is designed based on self-made multipoint temperature measurement transmitter. The core part of the instrument uses IC temperature sensor (AD590) as temperature measurement component, adopts such disposals as interface circuit and matrix net of integrated temperature transmitter, according to its temperature characteristic, as well as the technology of microcontroller-based low power, and fulfills multipoint temperature measurement in the different position of the tank of fermentable liquid merely with the transmitter's signal introduced.

Abstract:Managing large-scale facilities for storing bulk grain is time-consuming, labour intensive, and often difficult to be thorough. This paper presents a computer algorithm for using temperature data to remotely monitor and inspect stored grain in large bulk storage facilities. The algorithm is based on the analysis of the spatiotemporal distributions of the temperature field in the stored grain. The characteristics and irregularities of the temperature field were analysed to detect changes in grain quantity (inventory) and quality. The algorithm was implemented in computer software and tested on 234,300 sets of temperature data from 592 different grain depots in 10 provinces in China. The average accuracy of correctly identifying grain quality and inventory problems was 94%. (c) 2021 IAgrE. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
An On-Line Temperature Monitoring Device

Abstract:The paper has proposed an on-line temperature monitoring device, which can be used to acquire thermal information. Specifically, this device is a binocular IR camera, whose size is only 3 cm x3 cm x 4 cm. The device, which is powered by a remote Power over Ethernet (PoE), can be installed near measured objects and responsible for collecting both visible-light images and IR array data of objects. Additionally, the data is transmitted through the same cable, which is convenient. Furthermore, the IR-fusion module in this device is able to fuse temperature array data and image data collected by the binocular IR camera and produces an ER-fusion image. The device has been tested in the laboratory.

Abstract:Circuit of the temperature measurement equipment was improved in order to develop temperature telemetering system for cultivating fruit facilities. The traditional temperature measuring equipments used in monitoring temperature changes in greenhouse include mercury column, merbromine column, kerosene column glass rod thermometer and mechanical inductive thermometer. Compared with the traditional method of temperature measurement the new system reduces the labor requirement and promotes precision monitoring and control of the temperature. In addition, the temperature in the greenhouse was very accurate especially at night or in rainy and snowy weather. This new temperature telemetering system will promote the development of the fruit protection cultivation.

Abstract:Under the background of promoting modernization agriculture,in order to help the development and popularization of domestic intelligent greenhouses,this paper studies the system of multi-spot environment parameters measurement,which makes use of sensors,embedded system and communication,and realizes the measurement of temperature,humidity,illumination intensity and the open angle of the side windows,the control of the executors,data storage and analysis,the function of man – computer interaction.This paper specially introduces the design of sensor circuits,the programming of one chip computer,the function and the realization of upper computer,monitor center,and the communication interface between them.The test results meet the design requirements with high quality and low cost,and the system can be popularized.

Abstract:A simples,variable temperature heating unit has been successfully developed,which be quickly and easily installed on the X-ray diffractometer,without any replacement of D8 X-ray diffractometer attachment cases.In situ variable temperature X-ray diffraction test,meeting the demand from room temperature to 600 ℃ in-situ temperature X-ray diffraction test can be carried out,shortening the time of replacement of the attachment from 2~3 days to 30 min.The test efficiency is improve.A fund of nearly 20 million has been saved from the purchase of a similar variable temperature heating device.

Abstract:Storage is the key link of modern logistics. Warehouse environment monitoring is an important part of storage safety management. To meet the storage requirements of different materials, guarantee their quality in the greatest extent, which has great significance. In the warehouse environment monitoring, the most important parameters are air temperature and relative humidity. In this paper, a design of warehouse multipoint temperature and humidity monitoring system based on King view, which realizes the multipoint temperature and humidity data real-time acquisition, monitoring and storage in warehouse by using temperature and humidity sensor. Also, this paper will take the bulk grain warehouse as an example and based on the data collected in real-time monitoring, giving the corresponding expert advice that combined with the corresponding algorithm, providing theoretical guidance to control the temperature and humidity in grain warehouse.

Abstract:In order to solve the problems of the existing automatic measuring system for grain storage condition such as single function,low performance-price ratio,short of flexibility,weak data transmission ability and so on,this paper analyzed the limitations of the existing automatic measuring system for grain storage condition,and the new type multi-parameter automatic measuring system for grain storage condition based on wireless sensor networks was designed,then the architecture,hardware and software design approach of the proposed system were presented in detail.The designed system could implement the real-time,multi-point detection of multiple parameters related to grain storage condition,including ambient temperature inside and outside the granary,ambient humidity inside and outside the granary,several harmful gas concentrations,grain storage temperature,moisture content and pests,and the measured data could be sent to the remote monitoring center through a reliable wireless communication network.The preliminary experimental results proved the rationality and practicability of this system.This research can provide references for the application of wireless sensor networks in the grain depot.

Abstract:In order to ensure the reliability and accuracy of long-term temperature measurement where the thermometers are discommodious or even impossible to access for conventional periodical calibration, a study on miniaturized in-situ self-calibrated (MISSC) thermometers based on Ga and Ga-Zn fixed points was conducted using temperature scale transfer technology. One MISSC thermometer consists of three parts: the first is the fixed-points hardware, including a container with two cells separately filled with Ga and Ga-Zn; the second is the temperature sensing hardware, made of a Type T thermocouple; the third is the mini-power heating hardware, made of a film resistance. The measurement and calibration (M&C) system comprises a temperature measurement and data processing subsystem and a mini-power heating control subsystem. Then, an in-situ self-calibration can be carried out by mini-power heating from a room temperature of about 20 °C, and then by comparison between the measured phase transition plateau results and the standard fixed-points, i.e., Ga fixed point (about 29.76 °C) and Ga-Zn fixed point (about 25.20 °C). A series of experiments were performed, and the results show that: (1) both the proposed hardware design and the self-calibration method are feasible, and (2) the Φ16 mm × 25 mm MISSC thermometer is found to be the most miniaturized one that can realize reliable self-calibration in this study.

Abstract:Due to the grain storage located in remote areas, the existing Monitor System for Grain is just monitored locally，and it is difficult to achieve remote monitoring. This article describes a wireless grain information remote monitoring system. The system base on wireless sensor networks, and use 1-wire bus temperature sensor DSl8820 to sample the grain temperature real-time. Finally, through the GPRS network, implement the remote monitoring system. This system is suitable for all kinds of grain storage, and has a stable and reliable, strong scalability advantages.

Abstract:Mildew is an important issue in grain storage, due to the very expensive losses that can arise due to grain spoilage by mildew. Monitoring the conditions which allow mildew to develop is important and current monitoring technology cannot readily, or safely, be used for internal humidity monitoring of the very large quantities of grain kept in storage. In this work, a quasi-distributed, tailored fiber optic temperature and humidity sensor system suitable for use in the large granaries has been developed. Dust from the grain is a major issue and the sensor system copes well with this. Various sensor designs have been evaluated and building on prior work, a design with a humidity sensitivity of 5.8pm/%RH, a measurement error of 2%RH, and response time of 4.3 minutes, which is more than adequate for the applications discussed has been developed. Field-testing of the sensor system was carried out at a major storage facility in China, monitoring over an extended period of 4 months, giving results consistent with the outputs from other point sensors currently used in the granary. The fiber optic sensor system developed shows the additional advantages that as a quasi-distributed system, it can be used to record the temperature and humidity distribution across a longitudinal section of the large size of the grain pile, in real time, reflecting the changes in the internal moisture content. The results obtained showed the sensor system has broad market application prospects in this and other important areas of agricultural and food storage.
A Design of Cold Spot Temperature Measurement and F Value Calculation System for Can Sterilization

Abstract:According to W D Bigelow's sterilization theory, a programmable DAQ system based on PC (Personal Computer) open loop was built to provide continuous measurement of cold spot temperature and accumulate its F value during can sterilization process. The hardware of the system consisted of a temperature sensor, a DAQ instrument, a PC and some other fittings. The probe of the sensor was fixed on the cold spot and thus, the DAQ instrument brought the temperature message to the PC for further processing via RS-232 serial communication. The designed fittings involved a sensor connector nut, a sensor protection tube, a lock nut and packing glands, which could help to introduce the probe into the product, make the probe more stable and maintain the seal during sterilized processing. The specific application program was developed in LabVIEW environment. It could function as data receiving, F Value calculation, real time curve drawing, data saving and outputting. Experiments showed that the whole system can be applied to determine and monitor the temperature changes on-line in canned food sterilization; the system also can offer an off-line reference data for formulating process parameters.

Abstract:In order to realize the function to monitor and receive the environment temperature of dairy products during the transportation procedure,a temperature data real-time acquisition and storage system based on ARM7 was devised.This system measure temperature with temperature sensor DS18B20 and save the collected temperature data to flash memory by AT91SAM7S64 microcontroller,temperature data is transported to computer through serial communication.Tests show that this system is of low cost and could display temperature of the circumstances accurately.To make the system much better,it can be used to many different fields of temperature measurement with its feature to small volume and response quickly.

Abstract:At normal operations,the measurement of temperature and humidity is necessary at many occasions.In order to get the accurate measurement,the paper designed and implemented the digitized temperature and humidity sampler.the sampler used the 89S52 as the core,and had the merits of wide range of testing,high precision,strong anti-interference ability,abundant connecters,strong flexibility,and so on.The acquisition instrument could be used as single machine,could be also used as network test system.As a single machine,the LCD displayer showed the real-time temperature,humidity,dew-point.According to the field test and the result,the experiment indicates that the acquisition instrument can meet the requirements of temperature and humidity collection very well,and has the value of application.

Abstract:Temperature serves as one of the signs of operating condition of equipments. Compared with vibration detection and noise measurement, temperature measuring instruments have such advantages as the state of being achievable, high performance-to-price ratio and simple code of operation. With the help of advanced measuring technology, corresponding intelligence measuring instrument can be developed, and the relation between temperature and operating condition of materiel can be concluded by experiments, and that may make the measuring instrument intelligent, and improve the level of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology of materiel. This paper deals with detection technology for materiel operating condition monitoring based on temperature by presenting an example of the portable set, bring forward that experiment is the key point of portable set for condition monitoring based on temperature.

Abstract:High power rotating machinery require bearings that can perform under extreme conditions. Tilting pad bearing temperatures exceeding their design limits may cause unit downtime or failure. Through the analysis of tilting pad bearing lubrication characteristics, including temperature distribution and oil film pressure distribution, supplemented by a minimum oil film thickness analysis, a method named Temperature Collaborative Monitoring based on Characteristic Points is proposed. Using factory unit test bench, the geometric characteristics and the operational characteristics of the tilting pad bearing unit are analyzed. A reasonable arrangement of the bearing temperature measurement points is presented. A large amount of temperature data for the main-pad and vice-pad are obtained. Experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed measurement method.

Abstract:Objective To develop a digital temperature sampling system.Methods This system was one of non-electrical bridge device made up of platinum resistance Pt100 and A/D converter MAX1415.Results By the means of practical testing,the system ran well and was applied in the cooperation project in Department of Cardiology of General Hospital of PLA.Heating range was from room temperature to 300℃ and temperature control accuracy was ±0.05 ℃ for design requirement.Conclusion With the characteristics,of stable operation and the convenient design of software and hardware,the application of instrument has a bright future in the market.
