This paper first expatiates on them separately ,then compares with the two creeds in Economics. Abstract:The rationalism in economics is the most important and noticeable genealogies in the development of economic thoughts. Firstly, we clarify the rationalism which we advocate by refusing instrumental rationality and explaining the meaning of “Vernunft”. Then, we turn to analyze the two part of the economic rationalism system, the hypothesis of economic rationalism and rational methodology. Through the meaning of the hypothesis of economic rationalism, we explain the foundation of the rational paradoxes, and prove that the economic rationalism is reasonable. But we must acknowledge that there is some deficiency in economic rationalism. By analyzing the Newcomb’s Problem, we know that the rational method has its limits. So finally we reach the conclusion that we should insist a kind of prudential rationalism in economics.

Abstract:Economics is a subject about rational choices.Different economic systems are constructed on the basis of different rational hypotheses.Mainstream economics,based on the hypothesis of perfect rationality,concludes that agents can attain the optimal object out of all the choices.However,perfect rationality is not true,and it fails in the logical reasoning and practical examination.Actually,agents have only limited rationality.With this conclusion as a presupposition,various branches of economics,such as the new institutional economics,evolutionary economics and behavior economics,etc.,have established their respective disciplinary systems and constructed their agents' real choice models.

Abstract:Originated from the enlightening philosophers in recent centuries, the rationality has been evolving stepwise historically through different theories, such as dogmatism, criticism, dialectical rationality, technological rationality, social criticism and, communicative rationality. The thinkers in different historic stages based their critiques on the theories of rationality abstracted by themselves to reinforce what the previous thinkers expressed. But, their standpoints also unavoidably changed from one extremity to another. Although the historical evolvement of rationality goes on forever, its core reveals that the thought of rationality with modern wholeness ought to be a theory which confirms the existence of value rationality system besides the technological rationality system, thus providing a new constructive perspective to foster the rationality spirit in China so as to realize the unification of technological rationality, value rationality and art rationality and, finally, attain the goal to transcend the rationality itself.

Abstract:Industrial structure evolution is a long and ongoing topic,but its internal mechanism is overlooked by the scholars in the epochs of Classical Economics and New Classical Economics.Under New Growth Theory,a number of scholars discuss the endogenous evolutionary law of industrial structure;and consequently,the relationship between specialization-based economy and diversification-based economy has become a hot issue.Recently,researches based on evolutionary economics provide insightful ideas to solve this debate.By clarifying the research paradigm shifts of industrial structure evolution,this paper reviews the characteristics and profound historical backgrounds of every research stage,by which the external and internal factors of research paradigms can be clearly found.The paper also discusses the frontier issue in industrial structure evolution,namely,the specialization-based economy and diversification-based economy.In the end,the paper strongly argues that the presentation of the concepts of related and unrelated variety opens a window for solving this hot debate on specialization-based economy and diversification-based economy.

Abstract:Based on the depiction of developing skeleton of orthodox economics, a new research aspect is proposed to analyse the developing process and developing direction. It is worth pointing out that the existing limitations motivate some key economics propositions′ to perfect from the total ration to the limited ration state, meanwhile induce the appearance and development of behavioral economics. The conclusion indicates that the modification of rational hypothesis of traditional economics cause the amalgamation of standard economics via analysis of real person′s mind and behavior and behavioral economics which improve the interpreted capability and validity of modern economics.

Abstract:There are two main paths to comprehend economic phenomenon. One is dynamic evolution analysis based on the interaction of heterogenetic individual, which also is structuralism approach based on organic, dynamic and open weltanschauung. Another is static equilibrium analysis based on the postulate of homogeneitic individuals, which is the neoclassicism tradition based on mechanical, static and closed weltanschauung. Obviously, general equilibrium theory is the cornerstone of modern economics, so static equilibrium analysis is its basic method. In equilibrium model, modern economics studies on how economic man achieves the optimum allocation of resources following the principle of utility maximization. However, this equilibrium analysis comes up against serious problems when it analyses the reality. One is that the assumption it depends on is unreality, another is that it cannot discover the dynamic evolution of human behaviors and social phenomenon. As a result, modern mainstream economics is facing with severe challenges.

Abstract:In term of the relative importance of financial markets and institutions in the financial system,there is a great difference in the financial structure between U.S.and China,with the former featuring market-oriented system and the latter featuring bank-oriented system.Though the primary function of any financial system,which is to facilitate the allocation and deployment of economic resources both spatially and temporally in an uncertain environment,is the same,there is a great difference in the core functions performed by the two financial systems,such as information revelation,selection of financing channels(especially for SMEs),dependence on laws and legal enforcements,guidelines for credit pricing,et al.Such difference is an important factor which determines the efficiency of resource allocation and the pace of industrial structure upgrade in different countries.In other words,for China there is a big adaptive gap between the financial structure and the economy.From the historical perspective,though the evolution of financial structure in any country,especially for U.S.and China,is peculiar and cannot be replicated by others,market-oriented financial system may be a good choice for China.
