Abstract:The thin paper in coating has little strain, so it is broken easily. By using PLC and frequency inverter to control it,the arithmetic of composing PID and varying modulus basing on fuzzy control has been appraised well in the practice.

Abstract:A fuzzy controller of the winding/unwinding control system used in jig-dyeing machine is introduced, which is superior to the one with conventional optimal PID controller in convergence speed and stability. Its mathematical model and transfer function are presented based on mechanism of the winding/unwinding control system. Simulation of the fuzzy controller carried out in the MATLAB (Simulink) environment proves that the control system based on fuzzy controller is superior in quality, precision and operation to a conventional optimal PID controller. The outlined experimental results also show the effectiveness and the robustness of the fuzzy PID controller in good dynamic performance, high robustness to parameter variation and disturbance.

Abstract:With Mitsubishi PLC and Easy View touch screen , the control system of magnetic scattering vacuum three-target film coating machine can set parameters, control process-flow, give alarm and protection in case break-down occurs. This paper introduces the software and the hardware structures of the PLCcontrol system as well as the close-circuit control of the target unit, which aims at stabilizing target current.

Abstract:Abstract In order to achieve the temperature control accuracy of the finishing line drying system, a PID control system based on MCGS and PLC is proposed. Using MCGS configuration software to edit the touch screen picture, Siemens PLC hardware configuration and programming, PID control algorithm to realize the conversion of analog and digital quantity, as well as the communication design between the upper computer (PC) and PLC and touch screen. Through the practical verification of assembly and debuggin, the control of the given value ± 5 °C of the drying system temperature of the finish line is realized.

Abstract:The design of the imprinting machine for polymeric microfluidic chip was introduced.The imprinting machine can be heated and cooled by TEC,pressed by hydraulic pressure in a vacuum maintained by a pump.Realtime control between PC and PLC is realized through serial communication by freeport mode,and the control of temperature and pressure is realized by PLC.It is showed that the experimental results agree with the high quality and precision of the polymeric microfluidic chips made by this machine.

Abstract:A drying pit control system that was composed of the PLC applied system was introduced in the printworks.The design of the structure of hardware and software was discussed in detail.In this system,the online measuring and controlling of moisture was realized by the fuzzy PID algorithm.The application process indicated that the system was simple,highly reliable and highly automatic.The automation level is improved greatly in the printworks.

Abstract:Principle and process of automatic control on water mist fire-extinguishing system created based on PLC are instructed in the paper. The experiment includes the research of the outfire effect of water mist system, temperature sampling-and-treating of the fire field during the burning and extinguishing is also completed. The result shows that system reacts quickly, the control process and action reach the requirement. One of the mechanics of water mist for putting out liquid combustible fire is the notable cooling effect of water mist.

Abstract:Automatic Control system has been widely used in the field of modern chemical production industry,which not only enhances the automatic level of production device but also elevates products' quality and output.A method combining manufacture process monitoring system and PLC is presented,through which automatic control system of a set of device for latex polymerization is developed and automatic control and monitoring function of the whole manufacture process are realized.For the key factor influencing quality best-polymerization temperature,cascade with stroke-dividing control algorithm is applied.Through long-term practical running,control effect reaches the expectation,which demonstrates the feasibility of this control system.

Abstract:The existing control theory is divided into two parts in this paper, i.e. precise control theory and fuzzy control theory. After investigating the advantages and disadvantages of the precise control and fuzzy control respectively, the so-called fuzzy-precise combined control strategy is proposed from the view of practical application in the paper. This new strategy will bring maximum control benefits with minimum design efforts. As the application background, the fuzzy-precise combined control strategy has applied into four full scale paper machine control systems, and all of them got good control results.

Abstract:In order to control the warp tension stably,the control system uses a three-phase AC servo motor as let-off and take-up actuator.The paper presents a model which consists of a fuzzy controller and a PI controller based on analysis of factors responsible for the fluctuation of warp tension.These two controllers are parallel.Then,the principle of the model is introduced.The model measures the tension several times in a rotation cycle of loom chief shaft.It introduces a compensation factor to correct tension error in consideration of the change of variety and beam radius.And it controls the speed of let-off motor with fuzzy and PID control so that the warp tension remains stable.The operation on the GA731 rapier loom indicates that the warp tension fluctuates within the pale of 2%.The control system has a good dynamic and static characteristic to meet the needs of practical production.

Abstract:A multivariable fuzzy control strategy was proposed for the heat setting machine in post-procedure of printing and dyeing industry.In this strategy,the temperature field was controlled by means of three hierarchical subsections; each subsection was regulated with single fuzzy control loop so that the single loop temperature can be kept more precise.Based on this, a forward multivariable fuzzy controller was introduced for resolving the problems of subsections interference and temperature distributing uneven.Finally, the control strategy was completed in a real printing and dyeing process using SIEMENS PLC,the practical results show that the proposed approach is better than conventional PID approach.

Abstract:This paper presents the design of a constant water supply system under fuzzy control performed by PLC and a frequency converter. The system is designed on the on site operators' experience, which can solve the problem exsisting in the parameter adjustment in the courses of the traditional PID control. The system can replace the water supply mode performed by a perch water tower and water pump, which effectuates the direct water pressure. The application has proved to be very effective for saving on energy.

Lots of dynamic mathematic models, static mathematic models and control algorithms were put into the environment, and the simulation system for the pulp & paper mill can thus be established. Abstract:Based on introducing the control principle of the jigger system,the analysis of control requirement for the system was achieved,and the control scheme was proposed.The construction of hardware platform based on programmable logic controller(PLC) was built.The control strategies about the velocity-tension transmission system and the temperature of dyeing liquor were presented.Furthermore,the development of the man-machine interface was considered.The experimental results show that the control system possesses the properties of proper design,highly integrated ability and stability.

Abstract:In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional finishing machines, such as low automation degree, bad reliability and more failures, the automatic control system for finishing of precise flat steel is developed based on PLC, touch screen and invert in this paper. The producing flow and control requirements of finishing precise flat steel are introduced. The control system is used to adjust the speed of equipment for finishing precise flat steel. Application of touch screen offers a better HMI. By adopting semi-closed control strategy response time is reduced and control accuracy is improved. The system has good effect in practice.

Abstract:Considering papermaking process has strong coupling and time-delay characteristics,a method of PID control by unpacking coupling based on the diagonal recurrent neural network is provided.It can perfectly achieve to decouple multi-variable control system by using diagonal recurrent neural network to identify the system model and adjust the PID parameters.The results indicate that the PID control by unpacking coupling has powerful adaptive ability,short response and fast anti-interference.
