Abstract:A new type of glass curtain wall system based on transmission solar concentrator is proposed. The device effectively improves the incidence of solar radiation on the unit area of the battery and maximizes the use of excess solar radiation to generate electricity and heat while continuing to ensure indoor lighting. It can also convert excess solar energy into electrical energy, reduce the indoor thermal load, and generate heat, which can be used to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption. The device's performance was tested experimentally in different seasons under actual weather conditions. The integral box was designed based on the integrating sphere principle and the temperature, illuminance, inlet and outlet temperature of the cooling medium in the integral box of the new glass curtain wall system were all tested in different seasons throughout the day. The comparison test was carried out using ordinary double-layer vacuum glass. The results show that the new glass curtain wall system's thermal efficiency is generally the highest at noon, while the maximum heat gain per unit area of air per day can reach 149 W/m2 in spring and autumn, 237 W/m2 in summer, and 52.6 W/m2 in winter. During spring, autumn and summer, glass, the new glass curtain wall can reduce the heat load in the integral box by more than 41% on average over the whole day with high efficiency. At the same time, the international lighting standards show that workers are generally fully satisfied when the indoor illuminance is more than 500 Lux, and the illuminance of this new glass curtain wall system is more than 500 Lux in all seasons. Additionally, it can reduce the needed indoor lighting better than ordinary double-layer vacuum glass.
