Abstract:Since the growing application of realtime video acquisition and process technology in the fields of security moniter,video conference and network chatting,this paper introduces how to develop the framework of video image acquistion project based on video for windows library;and because call-back function being the common interface of video card on capturing and processing video data,this paper analyzes how to process the acquired video data in real time with self-defined call-back function,and explains the adoption of grads differential method to acquire the active contour of video image in real time, which could be applied in the video image processing project,such as video object moniter, face detection.

Abstract:A new method to develop real-time program is put forward based on the real-time program's special features considering the windows operating system's services multithread, arising priority, locking physical memory, as well as the development of device driver to enhancing real-time program's performance. An application of object capture system using digital CCD camera is given to show the feasibility and validity of this method. It makes a breakthrough in the technique of combining the real-time program with the operating system.

Abstract:Video capture module plays an important role in the unmanned air vehicle(UAV) image processing system.High quality video capture is the foundation of the effective image processing.A module realization method which combined the MPEG2 video capture hardware with the DirectShow technique was introduced.The design procedure was described in detail.Finally the performance of the application which suggested that the video quality was greatly improved.The experimental results show that the approach is robust,can solve normal MPEG2 stream capture problems.

Abstract:Screen-capture tool can record a user's interaction with software and application content as a stream of screenshots which is usually stored in certain video format. Researchers have used screen-captured videos to study the programming activities that the developers carry out. In these studies, screen-captured videos had to be manually transcribed to extract software usage and application content data for the study purpose. This paper presents a computer-vision based video scraping tool (called scvRipper) that can automatically transcribe a screen-captured video into time-series interaction data according to the analyst's need. This tool can address the increasing need for automatic behavioral data collection methods in the studies of human aspects of software engineering. Abstract:A novel CCD high speed videography system with brand-new concepts and techniques is developed by Zhejiang University recently. The system can send a series of short flash pulses to the moving object. All of the parameters, such as flash numbers, flash durations, flash intervals, flash intensities and flash colors, can be controlled according to needs by the computer. A series of moving object images frozen by flash pulses, carried information of moving object, are recorded by a CCD video camera, and result images are sent to a computer to be frozen, recognized and processed with special hardwares and softwares. Obtained parameters can be displayed, output as remote controlling signals or written into CD. The highest videography frequency is 30,000 images per second. The shortest image freezing time is several microseconds.The system has been applied to wide fields of energy,chemistry,medicine, biological engineering, aero-dynamics, explosion, multi-phase flow, mechanics,vibration,athletic training,weapon development and national defence engineering. It can also be used in production streamline to carry out the online, real-time monitoring and controlling.

Abstract:COM is the one of the most important peripheral interfaces in computer; therefore it is significant to do the study of programming design methods in serial communication. In this paper we discuss the four programming design methods of serial communication on C~(++) Builder 6 platform: direct embedded assembler, Windows API functions, MSComm component based on the technique of ActiveX and Third-Party component SPComm. We also give the compared results of the four programming design methods in serial communication, and provide programming examples.
