Abstract:A simple and direct synthesis of polysubstituted 5-aminopyrimidines from α-azidovinyl ketones and amidines in the present of base was developed. The reactions were performed under mild conditions in good to excellent yields. Additionally a possible mechanism of 1,4-Michael addition is proposed.

Abstract:A general synthetic route of aminopyridines which are useful organic intermediates was investigated.The target compounds were synthesized starting from corresponding cyanopyridines,via incomplete hydrolysis in the presence of hydrogen peroxide using mixture of acetone-water and dilute base as solvent,and Hoffman degradation reaction with freshly made NaBrO.The feasible conditions of the above synthetic process were discussed taking the preparation of 4-aminopyridine as example.The optimum concentration of sodium hydroxide solution in the transformation of cyanopyridine to pyridinecarboxamide was 1.0 %.And the Hoffman degradation would be efficiently carried out at 75 ℃ in 12.5 % sodium hydroxide solution.

Abstract:New, efficient and environmentally adapted synthesis of polysubstituted imidazoles in one-pot is found. The multicomponent reaction of various aldehydes, benzil, aliphatic and aromatic primary amines and ammonium acetate under solvent-free condition is explained. The highly efficient role of CrCl3.6H2 Oa s catalyst in this synthesis was shown. By this advantage, several polysubstituted imidazoles as pharmaceutical important molecules can be prepared in high yield and high purity. This method is a very easy and a rapid reaction for the synthesis of imidazole derivatives. The crude products recrystallized to afford the crystalline pure products. Furthermore, catalyst exhibited remarkable reusable activity.

Abstract:A facile and direct intramolecular oxidative C(aryl)-H amidation reaction was developed for the synthesis of quinolino[3,4-b]quinoxalin-6(5H)-ones in moderate to excellent yields starting from readily available materials by tethering the adjacent N-methoxyamide and aryl portions in the presence of phenyliodine(III) bis(trifluoroacetate) at room temperature. This metal-free approach is a valuable addition to the traditional methods already available for the preparation of these molecules.
