Abstract:A silver(I)-catalyzed tandem reaction of 2-alkynylbenzaldoxime with alkylidenecyclopropane gives rise to benzo-7-azabicyclo[4.2.2]dec-7-en-4-ones in moderate to good yields. The complexity and diversity could be easily incorporated with the formation of three bonds during the process.

Abstract:A Lewis-acid-promoted approach to the synthesis of highly functionalized dihydrobenzofuran derivatives was developed. A diverse range of functional groups are tolerated in this type of reaction. The reaction mechanism investigation indicates that the highly reactive phenyl cation intermediate is probably involved in this process. The chirality of substrate is retained under the reaction conditions.

Abstract:A silver-catalyzed dearomative decarboxylative [3+2] spiroannulation of aryl oxamic acids with alkynes is described. The reaction provides reliable access to a range of azaspiro[4,5]trienones in moderate yields in aqueous media. In addition, the reaction exhibits a broad substrate scope and good functional group compatibility.
