Abstract:Lacan's thought of “false needs”digested the legitimacy of Freud's “instinctive I”;Seng Zhao's theory of “Unreal Empty”summarized the disputation between “real”and “unreal”since the Wei and Jin Dynasties.There are similarities between them.They both see the “false”or “not true”nature of human desire;at the same time,both believe that the solution is hidden in the “language”or “name”.Today,they have common contemporary value.In the period of social transition in current China,there are many contra-dictions resulting from the needs of a wide variety,and the contradiction between the needs is bound to trigger various conflicts of de-sire.People's desire reflects their needs,but sometimes it will deviate from their real needs.To solve the contradiction between the needs requires continuous progress of society;but the resolution of conflicts relies more on detachment in the spiritual realm.Spirit realm,refers to understanding and awareness of the world as well as the ontology of the universe.Realizing that fortune is “not real”and fame “false name”can make us get rid of the shackles of fame and fortune,listen to our inner voice and understand our real needs.It also can make our spirit more healthy,help achieve ourselves and fulfill our own life.
