Abstract:Twenty-one species of the genus Lecithocera Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 from China are described as new: L. angustifolia sp. nov., L. asticta sp. nov., L. balteiformis sp. nov., L. bicornuta sp. nov., L. bigeminata sp. nov., L. duplicispinea sp. nov., L. flavalba sp. nov., L. flavistriata sp. nov., L. furvibasis sp. nov., L. laticuculla sp. nov., L. ligulacea sp. nov., L. margirecta sp. nov., L. medogensis sp. nov., L. nullisigna sp. nov., L. parviflava sp. nov., L. parvispinea sp. nov., L. serratiloba sp. nov., L. sichuanensis sp. nov., L. tenuextrema sp. nov., L. tumicuculla sp. nov. and L. yunnanensis sp. nov. Images of adults and genitalia for all treated species are given, along with a checklist of all Chinese species of Lecithocera.

Abstract:Two new recorded species of genus Longidorus (L. pius and L. diadecturus) were recovered and collected from rhizosphere of deciduous trees in Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province and Wuhan of Hubei Province, China, respectively. Morphological identity was confirmed using the revised polytomous key of Loof & Chen, 1999.The codes for identifying the species of L.pius and L.diadecturus are A56-B4-C3-D1-E1-F3-G1-H1-I1 and A4-B23-C5-D3-F2-G2-H1-I1,respectively.L.pius was characterized by medium body size(L=4.7-6.3 mm),anterior region abruptly tapering with rounded lip continuous from body profile,odontostyle long(130-143 μm)and short rounded tail.Meanwhile,L.diadecturus could be distinguished by short body size(3.2-4.6 mm), short odontostyle (108-120 μ m), posterior position of guide ring (33-38 μ m), wide lip region and a relatively anterior vulva. Phylogenetically, the rDNA internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) region of L. pius from China showed 99% supported clade with L. pius topotype (AM743178) from Macedonia, and the similar relationship was obtained in L. diadecturus from China with 99% well supported clade to L. diadecturus type population (AF511416)from Canada.In addition,the 28S region of L.diadecturus from China showed 99% supported clade with L.diadecturus type specimen(AY601584),whereas L.pius noticeably clustered to L.raskii(AJ549983)and Longidorus sp. FDL-2011 (FR775757).The two species, L. pius and L. diadecturus were recorded for the first time in China, and the morphological description and phylogenetic relationships of the given species were provided in this study.

Abstract:The genus Lesticus in China was studied, with descriptions of four new species: L.auripennis sp. n. (Guangdong: Nanling, 24.93°N, 112.09°E); L.bii sp. n. (Xizang: Mêdog, 29.32°N, 95.34°E); L.xiaodongi sp. n. (Yunnan: Yingjiang, 24.71°N, 97.58°E); and L.violaceous sp. n. (Yunnan: Yingjiang, 24.71°N, 97.58°E). One new synonym is proposed: L.dubius Dubault, Lassalle & Roux, is a junior synonym of L.solidus Roux & Shi. An improved key and a catalogue accommodating all known Chinese Lesticus species are provided. Species relationships and the evolution of endophallic and other characters are preliminarily discussed.

Abstract:The Chinese species of Lilioceris are revised, and three new species are described from Tibet, China: Lilioceris zhentangensis Xu & Liang, sp. nov. , Lilioceris medogensis Xu & Liang, sp. nov. and Lilioceris zayuensis Xu & Liang, sp. nov. Five species of Lilioceris are reported for China as new records: L. dromedarius (Baly, 1861), L. pulchella (Baly, 1859), L. semicostata (Jacoby, 1908), L. unicolor (Hope, 1831) and L. nepalensis Takizawa, 1989. Lilioceris seminigra (Jacoby, 1889) is proposed as a junior synonym of L. unicolor Hope, 1831. Redescriptions, habitus photographs, geographic distributions, host plants (if available) and habitats are provided for these species.

Abstract:Two new species, Lonchoptera ciliosa, sp. nov. and L. multiseta, sp. nov., are described. L. nitidifrons Strobl is recorded from China for the first time. The types are deposited in the Entomological Museum of China Agricultural University, Beijing. 1. Lonchoptera ciliosa, sp. nov. (Figs. 1-7) The new species is somewhat similar to L. orientalis (Kertesz), but it can be separated from the latter by the mesonotum brown without stripes; pregonite weakly incised medially and hairy apically, and postgonite broad and sheet-like with narrower tip. Holotype: ♂, Shanshuping (33°13′N, 107°34′E), Changqing nature Reserve, Yangxian County, Shaanxi Province, 29-Ⅶ-2006, ZHU Ya-jun; Paratypes: 3♀♀, the same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific epithet name refers to the hairy apex of the pregonite. 2. Lonchoptera multiseta, sp. nov. (Figs. 8-16) The new species is somewhat similar to L. bifurcata (Fallen), but it can be separated from the latter by the halter dark brown, cercus longer than the epandrium and pregonite with two rows of rather long bristles at middle. Holotype: ♂, Xinglong Mountain (35°79′N, 104°07′E), Yuzhong, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, 21-Ⅷ-2007, HUO Shan; Paratypes: 2♂♂, same data as holotype. Etymology. Abstract:The Stictopterinae from China are revised. Seven genera and forty species are reported from China. Five new species (Lophoptera hamata sp. nov., Lophoptera solealis sp. nov., Lophoptera acutiprocessa sp. nov., Lophoptera purpurfera sp. nov. and Lophoptera trigonoprocessa sp. nov.) are described. One genus and ten species are recorded from China for the first time. Nine misidentifications in Chen (1982b, 1991, 1999) are revised. The male genitalia of Lophoptera obliquilinea Prout, 1928 are described for the frist time. Descriptions for the subfamily, all genera, and new species in China are provided, as are keys to genera and species, diagnoses for all species, and illustrations of adults and genitalia.

Abstract:The epicopeiid moth genus Schistomitra Butler, 1881 is reported outside Japan for the first time, with a new species, Schistomitra joelmineti Huang & Wang, sp. nov., described from the southern part of Shaanxi and Gansu Province in China. Abstract:The species of Leuctridae (Plecoptera) from Guangxi, China are reviewed. Two species of Rhopalopsole are described as new to science, R. cestroidea sp. nov. and R. triangulis sp. nov., belonging to the R. vietnamica group and the R. magnicerca group, respectively. Six species of Leuctridae are now known for Guangxi including two additional species of Rhopalopsole and one Paraleuctra recorded for the first time. The previously unknown female of R. duyuzhoui Sivec & Harper, 2008 is described from specimens from Guangxi. Characters are illustrated for the separation of R. furcospina (Wu, 1973) and R. sinensis Yang & Yang, 1993. Mitochondrial sequences of five Rhopalopsole species support their specific recognition.

Abstract:Lycogala is one of the most widely known genera of myxomycetes due to its distinct characteristics and cosmopolitan distribution. This study introduces a new species, Lycogala heterospora, based on its morphological characteristics and molecular analyses using the small subunit of the ribosomal RNA (nrSSU) gene. It is characterized by its spores of varying sizes and yellowish-brown peridial vesicles. The characteristics of the new species were examined under a stereomicroscope and a light microscope. The micrographs of relevant details are included. Moreover, Lindbladia cribrarioides is documented for the first time in China.
