Abstract:Two species, Ptecticus brevispinus sp. nov. and P. guangxiensis sp. nov., from China are described and illustrated. Additional two species, P. longispinus Rozkošný & Kovac, 2003 and P. melanurus (Walker, 1848), are recorded from China for the first time. Abstract:Three species of the Neoperlamontivaga group are described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China, including two new species, N.falcatatasp. nov. and N.shangsiensissp. nov., and a new record for Guangxi: N.bilineata Wu & Claassen, 1934. Illustrations and color images are provided for the three species mentioned above, and the new species is compared with related congeners in the group. Notes on the distribution of the Neoperla species known from Guangxi are also given.

Abstract:In the paper,a new species and two new record species of the genus Psilopa Fallén(Diptera,Ephydridae) are described:P.wangi sp.nov.,P.marginella(Fallén,1823) and P.leucostoma(M eigen,1830).P.marginella and P.leucostoma distribute in Helan M ountain of Inner M ongolia in China.T he types are deposited in the Entomological M useum of China Agricultural University,Beijing.Psilopa wangi sp.nov.(Figs 1-5) T his new species is allied to P.marginella(Fallén,1823),but differs from the latter in the following points:1) face bare without microtomentum;2)antennae orange,but first lagellomere brownish black dorsally;3) wing hyaline except middle and basal portions of cell R2 +3,cell R4 +5 and cell Cu brownish yellow;4) foreleg black;mid and hind coxae,trochanter and femora black,tibiae and tarsomeres 1 4 yellow,tarsomere 5 dark brown.♂.Body length2.04mm,wing length2.25mm.Holotype ♂,Liaoning,Huanren,Laotu Dingzi Nature Reserve(41.32°N,124.87°E;alt.1058 m),24 July 2009,collected by W ANG Jun-Chao(CAU).Etymology.T he specific name is derived from the collector's last name"W ang".

Abstract:A new species of the Neoperla diehli subgroup of the montivaga group, N. curvilobata sp. nov., is described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China. The first country records for N. diehli Sivec, 1985 and N. hubleyi Stark Sivec, 2008 from China are given. Neoperla wui Yang Yang, 1990 is reported again from the type locality. Neoperla mesostyla Li Wang, 2013 (in Wang et al. 2013b) is placed as a synonym of N. wui. Illustrations and color images are provided for each species and the new species is compared with related congeners of the N. diehli subgroup. A provisional key to the known species of the N. diehli subgroup is also presented.

Abstract:Two species of the genus Neoperla (Plecoptera: Perlidae) are described as new: Neoperla annulatispina Mo, Li Wang, sp. nov. from Guangdong and Neoperla similidelphina Mo, Li Muryi, sp. nov. from Guangxi. Distinctness of Neoperla annulatispina from morphologically similar Neoperla nigromarginata Li Zhang, 2014 was confirmed by comparing COI barcode sequences. Three additional Neoperla species are presented as new provincial records from the Nanling Mountains are given: Neoperla chebalinga Chen Du, 2016, Neoperla leigongshana Du Wang, 2007 and Neoperla maolanensis Yang Yang, 1993. Illustrations and color photographs are provided for each species, and the new species are compared to similar taxa. Distributions of Neoperla species recorded in the present study are also presented.

Abstract:Eight species of Trypetisoma Malloch, 1924 from Southwest China are described as new to science: T. (Trypaneoides) endosclerita sp. nov., T. (Tn.) jinpingensis sp. nov., T. (Tn.) menglunensis sp. nov., T. (Tn.) semicircularis sp. nov., T. (Tn.) trimaculata sp. nov., T. (Tn.) triprocessa sp. nov., T. (Tn.) xii sp. nov., T. (Trypetisoma) spinosa sp. nov., and T. (Tn.) fenestrata (de Meijere, 1910) is recorded for China for the first time. These species represent the first records for the subgenus Trypetisoma for the Oriental region. A key to the subgenera and species of genus Trypetisoma in the Oriental region is presented.

Abstract:This paper describes a new species and a new record of the genus Phaonia R.-D. from China. P.lamellicauda sp.nov. is subordinate to the P.oxystoma-group. The main characters of the group are as follows:vibrissal angle before the level of profrons; acr strong, post dc 3, scutellum without any yellow coloration, notopleura, prosternum and beret bare; f 2,f 3 and tibiae yellow, t 2 without pv bristle, t 3 without apical pv bristle. The type specimen is deposited in Shenyang Normal College.

Abstract:A new species of the genus Suwallia Ricker, 1943, S. rostrata sp. nov., from Xizang of southwestern China is described, illustrated and compared with similar species. Abstract:Lycogala is one of the most widely known genera of myxomycetes due to its distinct characteristics and cosmopolitan distribution. This study introduces a new species, Lycogala heterospora, based on its morphological characteristics and molecular analyses using the small subunit of the ribosomal RNA (nrSSU) gene. It is characterized by its spores of varying sizes and yellowish-brown peridial vesicles. The characteristics of the new species were examined under a stereomicroscope and a light microscope. The micrographs of relevant details are included. Moreover, Lindbladia cribrarioides is documented for the first time in China.

Abstract:Two new species, Lonchoptera ciliosa, sp. nov. and L. multiseta, sp. nov., are described. L. nitidifrons Strobl is recorded from China for the first time. The types are deposited in the Entomological Museum of China Agricultural University, Beijing. 1. Lonchoptera ciliosa, sp. nov. (Figs. 1-7) The new species is somewhat similar to L. orientalis (Kertesz), but it can be separated from the latter by the mesonotum brown without stripes; pregonite weakly incised medially and hairy apically, and postgonite broad and sheet-like with narrower tip. Holotype: ♂, Shanshuping (33°13′N, 107°34′E), Changqing nature Reserve, Yangxian County, Shaanxi Province, 29-Ⅶ-2006, ZHU Ya-jun; Paratypes: 3♀♀, the same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific epithet name refers to the hairy apex of the pregonite. 2. Lonchoptera multiseta, sp. nov. (Figs. 8-16) The new species is somewhat similar to L. bifurcata (Fallen), but it can be separated from the latter by the halter dark brown, cercus longer than the epandrium and pregonite with two rows of rather long bristles at middle. Holotype: ♂, Xinglong Mountain (35°79′N, 104°07′E), Yuzhong, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, 21-Ⅷ-2007, HUO Shan; Paratypes: 2♂♂, same data as holotype. Etymology. The new species is named for the pregonite having two rows of rather long bristles at middle.
