Abstract:After years of research on I-II mixed initial crack angle, various criteria have been proposed so far. The comparison of different determinations criterions with experimental results was deal with. LI Z H obtained a new I-II mixed crack criterion from the blunt crack tip stress's fields by defining the controlling fracture physical parameter σθmax on the surface at the crack tip. This criterion's physics significance is not only clear and direct, but also more testified with the experimental results. As a conclusion, the new criterion is a practical and a simple one compared to the existed ones.
