Preparation and Characterization of Bismuth Vanadate by Chemical Precipitation Process

Abstract:Using Bi(NO3)3·5H2O and NH4VO3 as raw materials,BiVO4 was prepared by chemical precipitation method.The influenences of reaction concentration,the value of pH,reaction temperature and reaction time on the particle size were investigated.The size distribution of Malvem,SEM and XRD were used to characterize the samples.The conclusion is that BiVO4 obtained by this way has smaller particles size and good homogeneity.
