Abstract:In the paper [2] the authors defined the singular Darboux transformations and established an explicit formula for constructing unitons from a simply connected Riemann surface M to the group U(N). The formula is obtained as a limit of an infinite consequence of Darboux transformations through some renormalization procedure. Abstract:The factorization of harmonic maps from a simply-connected domain Omega subset of C boolean OR {infinity} to the unitary group is studied, showing that the theory of isotropic harmionic maps is equivalent to that of 2-unitons. Furthermore, a positive answer is given to the Uhlenbeck's conjecture on the upper bound of minimal uniton numbers.

Abstract:Building on our recent work we construct the Penrose transformations of the cohomology groups of homogenous line bundles on flag domains $D=G_\R/T$ with $G_\R$ of Hermitian type. We give sufficient conditions for the injectivity of the Penrose transformations, and conditions under which the Penrose transformation of the automorphic cohomology groups on compact quotients of flag domains is an isomorphism. Finally we prove that the higher automorphic cohomology groups of certain homogeneous line bundles are isomorphic to the groups of automorphic forms on the Hermitian symmetric domain.

Abstract:We consider a real Abelian Lie supergroup $G$ acting on its complexification $M$, equipped with a $G$-invariant super Kähler form. We extend the scheme of classical geometric quantization to this setting and construct a unitary $G$-representation. We show that the occurrences of its irreducible subrepresentations are governed by the image of the moment map of the super Kähler form. As an application, we construct a Gelfand model of $G$, namely a unitary $G$-representation in which every unitary irreducible representation occurs exactly once.

Abstract:In this paper, we show that every singular fiber of the Gelfand--Cetlin system on coadjoint orbits of unitary groups is a smooth isotropic submanifold which is diffeomorphic to a $2$-stage quotient of a compact Lie group by free actions of two other compact Lie groups. In many cases, these singular fibers can be shown to be homogeneous spaces or even diffeomorphic to compact Lie groups. We also give a combinatorial formula for computing the dimensions of all singular fibers, and give a detailed description of these singular fibers in many cases, including the so-called (multi-)diamond singularities. These (multi-)diamond singular fibers are degenerate for the Gelfand--Cetlin system, but they are Lagrangian submanifolds diffeomorphic to direct products of special unitary groups and tori. Our methods of study are based on different ideas involving complex ellipsoids, Lie groupoids, and also general ideas coming from the theory of singularities of integrable Hamiltonian systems.

Abstract:Darboux transformation plays a key role in constructing explicit closed-form solutions of completely integrable systems. This paper provides an algebraic construction of generalized Darboux matrices with the same poles for the $2\times2$ Lax pair, in which the coefficient matrices are polynomials of spectral parameter. The first-order monic Darboux matrix is constructed explicitly and its classification theorem is presented. Then by using the solutions of the corresponding adjoint Lax pair, the $n$-order monic Darboux matrix and its inverse, both sharing the same unique pole, are derived explicitly. Further, a theorem is proposed to describe the invariance of Darboux matrix regarding pole distributions in Darboux matrix and its inverse. Finally, a unified theorem is offered to construct formal Darboux transformation in general form. All Darboux matrices expressible as the product of $n$ first-order monic Darboux matrices can be constructed in this way. The nonlocal focusing NLS equation, the focusing NLS equation and the Kaup-Boussinesq equation are taken as examples to illustrate the application of these Darboux transformations.

Abstract:Let $u\in\mathrm{End}(\mathbb{C}^n)$ be nilpotent. The variety of $u$-stable complete flags is called the Springer fiber over $u$. Its irreducible components are parameterized by a set of standard Young tableaux. The Richardson (resp. Bala-Carter) components of Springer fibers correspond to the Richardson (resp. Bala-Carter) elements of the symmetric group, through Robinson-Schensted correspondence. Every Richardson component is isomorphic to a product of standard flag varieties. On the contrary, the Bala-Carter components are very susceptible to be singular. First, we characterize the singular Bala-Carter components in terms of two minimal forbidden configurations. Next, we introduce two new families of components, wider than the families of Bala-Carter components and Richardson components, and both in duality via the tableau transposition. The components in the first family are characterized by the fact that they have a dense orbit of special type under the action of the stabilizer of $u$, whereas all components in the second family are iterated fiber bundles over projective spaces.

Abstract:A bstract We derive a structure of Z[ t, t − 1 ]-module bundle from a family of Yang-Yang functions. For the fundamental representation of the complex simple Lie algebra of classical type, we give explicit wall-crossing formula and prove that the monodromy representation of the Z[ t, t − 1 ]-module bundle is equivalent to the braid group representation induced by the universal R-matrices of U h ( g ). We show that two transformations induced on the fiber by the symmetry breaking deformation and respectively the rotation of two complex parameters commute with each other.
