Abstract:(Z)-1-Chloro-1-seleno-1-enes have been synthesized regio- and stereoselectively by the reaction of lithium chloride in HOAc with acetylenic selenides. In the presence of 5% mmol of PdCl2(PhCN)(2) and 10% mmol of CuI, (Z)-1-chloro-1-seleno-1-enes coupled with terminal acetylene rapidly to give selenoenynes in high yields.

Abstract:An iron-catalyzed highly anti-Markovnikov selective, enantioselective hydrosilylation of vinylcyclopropanes with PhSiH3 was reported for the preparation of valuable chiral allylic silanes via stereospecific C-C bond cleavage. Simultaneously, difficultly prepared chiral VCPs could be also obtained with moderate to excellent enantioselectivity via this kinetic resolution pathway. The chiral Z-allylic silanes could be converted to various chiral allylic derivatives. A possible mechanism via an iron-silyl species was proposed based on experimental and computational studies.

Abstract:Herein, we describe an electrochemical method for the synthesis of haloalkenyl chalcogenides from internal alkynes using hydrobromic and hydrochloric acids as halogenating agents, with the sole byproduct being hydrogen gas. This e-halochalcogenation protocol generates electrophilic chalcogenium species under mild conditions in a simple, undivided cell setup, enabling the synthesis of 25 examples of chloro- and bromovinyl selenides and sulfides with yields ranging from 10 % to 94 %, predominantly as the E-isomer. The synthetic utility of the halovinyl chalcogenides was demonstrated through various transformations, yielding densely functionalized tetra-substituted olefins. This underscores the versatility and efficiency of our method in assembling intricate molecular frameworks.

Abstract:A highly chemo-,regio-,and stereo-selective cobalt-catalyzed dehydrogenative silylation of vinylarenes was described.The imidazoline iminopyridine cobalt complex could promote this reaction effectively and improve the chemoselectivity dramatically.This protocol used earth-abundant transition metal,readily available alkenes and hydrosilanes to construct valuable vinylsilanes.The reaction could be carried out in gramscale and the proposed mechanism was also described.
