Abstract:The X-ray structure analysis of the title compound, C8H9Br2NO2, was carried out. In the unit cell, the molecules are stacked with their C=C double bonds at close intermolecular distances of approximately 3.6 Angstrom. Conjugation in the imide ring is not significant.

Abstract:In the title molecule, C(22)H(13)Br(2)NO(2), the three benzene rings are arranged in a propeller-like fashion around the central malemide ring, making dihedral angles of 48.2 (4), 30.2 (4) and 34.8 (4)degrees with the malemide ring. The C-C single-bond lengths connecting benzene groups and maleimide are significantly shorter [C-C = 1.468 (9) and 1.478 (9) angstrom] than a typical Csp(3)-Csp(3) single bond, indicating partial conjugation between the benzene and the maleimide. A weak nonclassical C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond helps to stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract:The title compound [systematic name: 1-(7-isopropyl-1,4a-dimethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,9,10,10a-octahydrophenanthren-1-ylmeth- yl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole], C35H40N2, was obtained via the one-pot three-component condensation of benzil, formaldehyde and dehydroabietylamine, which is a fungal toxin. The two substituent phenyl groups and the imidazole ring form a conjugated system. The dihedral angles between the imidazole ring and the phenyl rings are 70.18 (9) and 12.77 (12)degrees. In the crystal structure, there are one intramolecular and two intermolecular hydrogen-bonding C-H center dot center dot center dot pi contacts. Furthermore, a weak C-H center dot center dot center dot N intramolecular hydrogen bond is observed.

Abstract:The title compound, C14H14BrNO4, contains a tricyclic ring system including three contiguous stereocenters all of which exhibit an R configuration. The cyclo-hexa-none ring adopts a chair conformation. The central oxane ring assumes a strained envelope conformation, with five of the ring atoms being nearly coplanar with the bromo-phenyl group and with the C atom adjacent to the O atom and fused with the cyclo-hexa-none ring as the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Abstract:In the title compound, C10H19N32+center dot 2Br(-), the plane of the three butyl C atoms nearest to the pyridine ring is almost perpendicular to the ring [dihedral angle = 84.80 (2)degrees]. Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(13)H(12)BrNO(4), the dihedral angles between the aminomethylene group and the dioxane ring and between the benzyl ring and the aminomethylene unit are 7.96 (4) and 12.15 (4)degrees, respectively. The dioxane ring shows a half-boat conformation, in which the C atom between the dioxane ring O atoms is 0.460 (8) angstrom out of the plane through the remaining ring atoms. An intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond may stabilize the planar conformation of the molecule. An intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O interaction is also present.
