Abstract:In the title molecule, C(22)H(13)Br(2)NO(2), the three benzene rings are arranged in a propeller-like fashion around the central malemide ring, making dihedral angles of 48.2 (4), 30.2 (4) and 34.8 (4)degrees with the malemide ring. The C-C single-bond lengths connecting benzene groups and maleimide are significantly shorter [C-C = 1.468 (9) and 1.478 (9) angstrom] than a typical Csp(3)-Csp(3) single bond, indicating partial conjugation between the benzene and the maleimide. A weak nonclassical C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond helps to stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract:The X-ray structure analysis of the title compound, C8H9Br2NO2, was carried out. In the unit cell, the molecules are stacked with their C=C double bonds at close intermolecular distances of approximately 3.6 Angstrom. Conjugation in the imide ring is not significant.

Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.

Abstract:The title compound, C(21)H(17)BrN(2)O(4), a 2-phenoxy-2-phenyl-acetamide derivative, exhibits a stereogenic center but crystallizes as a racemate as indicated by the centrosymmetric space group. In the molecular structure, the nitro-substituted benzene ring is coplanar [dihedral angle = 12.9 (1)degrees] with the plane formed by H-N-C(=O)-C=O due to intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bond interactions.

Abstract:In the title molecule, C18H11Cl3N2O2, the central benzene ring is oriented at 8.44 (12) and 70.57 (11)degrees with respect to the terminal chlorophenol and dichloropyridine rings, respectively. Abstract:The title compound, C(13)H(12)ClNO(4), is approximately planar, with a dihedral angle of 8.23 (4)° between the mean plane of the amino-methyl-ene unit and the planar part of the dioxane ring. The dioxane ring has a half-boat conformation, in which the C atom between the dioxane O atoms is -0.464 (8) Å out of the plane of the other five atoms. In the mol-ecule there is an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond, involving the NH H atom and the adjacent dioxane carbonyl O atom. In the crystal, weak intermolecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding contacts, result in the formation of sheets parallel to the ab plane.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(13)H(12)BrNO(4), the dihedral angles between the aminomethylene group and the dioxane ring and between the benzyl ring and the aminomethylene unit are 7.96 (4) and 12.15 (4)degrees, respectively. The dioxane ring shows a half-boat conformation, in which the C atom between the dioxane ring O atoms is 0.460 (8) angstrom out of the plane through the remaining ring atoms. An intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond may stabilize the planar conformation of the molecule. An intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O interaction is also present.
