Abstract:The title compound, C14H14BrNO4, contains a tricyclic ring system including three contiguous stereocenters all of which exhibit an R configuration. The cyclo-hexa-none ring adopts a chair conformation. The central oxane ring assumes a strained envelope conformation, with five of the ring atoms being nearly coplanar with the bromo-phenyl group and with the C atom adjacent to the O atom and fused with the cyclo-hexa-none ring as the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H18BrN3O3, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-methanesulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine and N-(2-bromophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzylamine in tetrahydrofuran. There are three different planes in the molecule, each of which is conjugated. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine plane and the planes of the two phenyl rings are 107.85 (4) and 77.38 (2) degrees, and the dihedral angle between the planes of the two phenyl rings is 103.15(3)degrees.

Abstract:The title compound, C(21)H(17)BrN(2)O(4), a 2-phenoxy-2-phenyl-acetamide derivative, exhibits a stereogenic center but crystallizes as a racemate as indicated by the centrosymmetric space group. Abstract:In the title compound, C(13)H(12)BrNO(4), the dihedral angles between the aminomethylene group and the dioxane ring and between the benzyl ring and the aminomethylene unit are 7.96 (4) and 12.15 (4)degrees, respectively. The dioxane ring shows a half-boat conformation, in which the C atom between the dioxane ring O atoms is 0.460 (8) angstrom out of the plane through the remaining ring atoms. An intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond may stabilize the planar conformation of the molecule. An intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O interaction is also present.
