The planar dithiocarbazate moiety subtends an angle of 10.54 (8)° with respect to the plane of the nitrophenyl ring. Electron delocalization occurs between the imino and dithiocarboxyl groups. Abstract:The title compound, C6H8N4S22+.C4H2O42-, consists of a diaminobithiazole (DABT) cation and a fumarate anion. The cation and anion are both located on inversion centers. Both ions display a planar configuration and link to each other through hydrogen bonding between carboxyl and amino groups, as well as through weak C-H...O hydrogen bonding between thiazole and carboxyl groups. The C-N(amino) bond distance of 1.323 (4) Angstrom suggests the existence of electron delocalization between the thiazole ring and the amino group.

Abstract:The title compound 3-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-dydroxy-3-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)- 4-dydroxy-5-cyclohexanyl-Δ-dihydrofiiran-2-one 5 has been synthesized by the cyclization of methyl O-(2,4-dicMorophenyl-acetyl)-l-hydroxycyclo-hexane- carboxylate 4, and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system, space group P1̄ with a = 6.8192(3), b = 10.5053(5), c = 10.5811(5) Å, α = 71.681(10),β = 78.905(12), γ = 81.036(12)°, C15H 14Cl2O3, Mr = 313.18, V= 702.44(6) Å3, Z= 2, Dc= 1.481 g/cm3, F(000) = 324, μ = 0.465 mm-1, S = 1.006, the final R = 0.0331 and wR = 0.1363 for 2505 observed reflections with I. > 2σ(1) and 183 variable parameters. The crystal analysis shows that the cyclohexene unit of the title compound has a quasi-chair conformation, and a one-dimensional chain structure is formed via the intermolecular hydrogen bond O(l)-H(101) ···O(2).

Abstract:The title molecule, C20H16Cl2F3N3O2, was obtained by the reaction of 2,4-dichlorobenzaldehyde, 1-phenylguanidinium hydrogen carbonate and ethyl 4,4,4-trifluoro- 3-oxobutanoate catalyzed by sulfamic acid in the solid state. In the molecular structure, the pyrimidine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation and the two benzene ring are nearly perpendicular. Abstract:In the title compound, C20H25NO5, the dihydropyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. The methoxyphenyl ring is almost perpendicular to the mean plane of the pyridine ring [dihedral angle = 88.42 (3)degrees]. The two carbonyl units adopt a synperiplanar conformation with respect to the double bonds in the dihydropyridine ring. In the crystal, molecules are connected by N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds into R-4(4) (24) tetrameric rings. A region of disordered electron density, located at the center of four adjacent molecules, was treated with the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It is probably the result of traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during the structure refinement.

Abstract:The title compound, C37H37N3O5, was synthesized as a key intermediate in the total synthesis of d-biotin and was crystallized from 2-propanol. It contains one chiral center in the pyrrole ring, where the absolute configuration is known from the synthesis, and from which the two other chiral centers in the imidazolidine ring could be determined. An intramolecular O—H⋯O and intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds help to construct the three-dimensional network.
