Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, 2C(5)H(6)NO(2)(+)center dot-C4H2O42-, consists of 3-hydroxypyridinium cations and fumarate dianions. The dianion is located on an inversion center and the cation is linked to it by O-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds. The cation is twisted with respect to the anion by 24.83 (5)degrees.

Abstract:The title compound, C6H8N4S22+.C4H2O42-, consists of a diaminobithiazole (DABT) cation and a fumarate anion. The cation and anion are both located on inversion centers. Both ions display a planar configuration and link to each other through hydrogen bonding between carboxyl and amino groups, as well as through weak C-H...O hydrogen bonding between thiazole and carboxyl groups. The C-N(amino) bond distance of 1.323 (4) Angstrom suggests the existence of electron delocalization between the thiazole ring and the amino group.

Abstract:The title compound 3-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-dydroxy-3-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)- 4-dydroxy-5-cyclohexanyl-Δ-dihydrofiiran-2-one 5 has been synthesized by the cyclization of methyl O-(2,4-dicMorophenyl-acetyl)-l-hydroxycyclo-hexane- carboxylate 4, and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system, space group P1̄ with a = 6.8192(3), b = 10.5053(5), c = 10.5811(5) Å, α = 71.681(10),β = 78.905(12), γ = 81.036(12)°, C15H 14Cl2O3, Mr = 313.18, V= 702.44(6) Å3, Z= 2, Dc= 1.481 g/cm3, F(000) = 324, μ = 0.465 mm-1, S = 1.006, the final R = 0.0331 and wR = 0.1363 for 2505 observed reflections with I. > 2σ(1) and 183 variable parameters. The crystal analysis shows that the cyclohexene unit of the title compound has a quasi-chair conformation, and a one-dimensional chain structure is formed via the intermolecular hydrogen bond O(l)-H(101) ···O(2).

Abstract:The title compound, C17H13ClO6, is an asymmetric alicyclic dianhydride containing a chloromethyl-substituted tetrahydronaphthalene moiety. The cyclohexene ring in the tetrahydronaphthalene moiety exhibits an envelope conformation with the tertiary C atom as the flap The dihedral angle between the two anhydride rings is 79.96 (6)°, while those between the benzene ring and the non-fused and fused anhydride rings are 71.03 (5) and 42.57 (7)°, respectively. In the crystal, molecules are connected by weak C—H...O interactions, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure.

Abstract:The title molecule, C20H16Cl2F3N3O2, was obtained by the reaction of 2,4-dichlorobenzaldehyde, 1-phenylguanidinium hydrogen carbonate and ethyl 4,4,4-trifluoro- 3-oxobutanoate catalyzed by sulfamic acid in the solid state. In the molecular structure, the pyrimidine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation and the two benzene ring are nearly perpendicular. Abstract:The title compound, C 17 H 13 NO 6 , was synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, MS, 1 H NMR and single crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic system space group C 2/c with a = 27.981(6) Å, b = 12.996(3) Å, c = 8.0900(16) Å, β = 91.06(3)°, V = 2941.4(10) Å 3 , Z = 8, R 1 = 0.0675, wR 2 = 0.1626, and T = 298(2) K. The X-ray structure determination revealed that the center furanone ring is nearly coplanar with p -methoxybenzene ring and forms a dihedral angle of 87.2(1)° with the nitrobenzene ring. O–H···O Intermolecular hydrogen bonds link pairs of molecules into centrosymmetric dimers, making a graph set motif of R 2 2 (10). The dimers are further assembled into a chain of edge-fused R 4 4 (34) rings running along the [001] direction. The final three-dimensional supramolecular architecture is stabilized by weak π–π interactions. Graphical Abstract The dimers were assembled into a chain of edge-fused R 4 4 (34) rings running along the [001] direction and a co-chain is formed with an “x” pattern of the cross section.

Abstract:The title compound, C(20)H(16)N(2)O(4)S, was prepared by introduction of a 2-nitro-benzyl group to 2-(furan-2-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1,5-benzothia-zepin-4(5H)-one via an alkaline-catalysed reaction. The thia-zepine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation. The furan ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 56.75 (14) and 10.82 (14)° with respect to the two benzene rings, while the two benzene rings make a dihedral angle of 62.96 (10)°. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds occur in the crystal structure.
