Abstract:In the title compound, C4H8Cl4NOP, the two chloro-ethyl groups are not related by crystallographic symmetry. The difference in the conformation of the two groups is shown by their N-C-C-Cl torsion angles of 64.57 (15) and 175.62 (10)°.

Abstract:In the title compound, [MnCl2(C12H8N2)(2)], the Mn-II complex displays a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed by two phenanthroline ligands and two Cl- anions. The crystal structure is different from that reported previously for the same compound [McCann, McCann, Casey, Jackman, Devereux & McKee (1998). Inorg. Chim. Acta, 279, 24-29].

Abstract:In the title compound, C(14)H(10)ClNO(2), the dihedral angle between the two rings is 59.4 (2)°. The two carbonyl groups are oriented almost anti-periplanar to each other, with a torsion angle of -160.43 (2)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into inversion dimers by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.

Abstract:In the title molecule, C18H11Cl3N2O2, the central benzene ring is oriented at 8.44 (12) and 70.57 (11)degrees with respect to the terminal chlorophenol and dichloropyridine rings, respectively. The molecular structure is stabilized by an intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond, which generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, pi-pi stacking between parallel pyridine rings is observed [centroid-centroid distance = 3.6561 (14) angstrom].

Abstract:The crystal and molecular structure of diethyl 1-(6-methyl-2-benzothiazoleamino)-2,4-dichlorophenylmethylphosphonate has been determined by X-ray diffraction method. The crystal (C19H21Cl2N2O3PS) is monoclinic with space group p2(1)/c, a=8.318(2), b=18.202(4), c=14.673(3) Angstrom, beta=92.51(3)degrees, mu=0.4749 mm(-1), Z=4; D-x=1.375 g/cm(3), F(000)=952, V=2219(1) Angstrom(3), final R=0.059 and R-w=0.060 for 2038 observed reflections with I greater than or equal to 3 sigma(I). The X-ray analysis result shows that the magnetic nonequivalence of the two ethoxy groups of the title compound is caused by the shielding effect of the benzene ring in alpha-position.

Abstract:The title compound, C(20)H(23)Cl(2)NO, was prepared by condensation of (R)-1-(2-chloro-phen-yl)-1-cyclo-pentyl-methanamine with 1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxy-phen-yl)ethanone, resulting in the formation of a new chiral center. The structural analysis confirms the absolute configuration of the title compound and the formation of the (R,R) diastereoisomer. There is an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond which stabilizes the conformation of the mol-ecule. The mol-ecules are linked to each other through weak C-H⋯π inter-actions.
