Abstract:Let f(n) denote the number of factorizations of the natural number n into factors larger than 1,where the order of the factors does not count.In this paper,we prove that if n■P,P~2,then f(n) ≤n(q(n)-1)p(n),there p(n) is the largest prime factor of n,q(n) is the least prime factor of n.

Abstract:For every nonnegative integer $n$, let $r_F(n)$ be the number of ways to write $n$ as a sum of Fibonacci numbers, where the order of the summands does not matter. Moreover, for all positive integers $p$ and $N$, let \begin{equation*} S_{F}^{(p)}(N) := \sum_{n = 0}^{N - 1} \big(r_F(n)\big)^p . \end{equation*} Chow, Jones, and Slattery determined the order of growth of $S_{F}^{(p)}(N)$ for $p \in \{1,2\}$. We prove that, for all positive integers $p$, there exists a real number $\lambda_p > 1$ such that \begin{equation*} S^{(p)}_F(N) \asymp_p N^{(\log \lambda_p) /\!\log \varphi} \end{equation*} as $N \to +\infty$. Furthermore, we show that egin{equation*} \lim_{p \to +\infty} \lambda_p^{1/p} = \varphi^{1/2} , \end{equation*} where $\varphi := (1 + \sqrt{5})/2$ is the golden ratio. Our proofs employ automata theory and a result on the generalized spectral radius due to Blondel and Nesterov.

Abstract:To answer the question "Is $10$ a solitary number?", we have established a necessary and sufficient condition on primes $p$ and $q$ so that $p$ divides $\sigma(q^{2a})$($a\in\mathbb{Z^+}$). Also We have found the form of $q$ whenever $p$ divides $\sigma(q^{2a})$ for $q>p$ . Using these two, we have proved that if $n$ is a friend of $10$ then it is an odd square with at least seven distinct prime factors, $5$ being the least one. Moreover there exists a prime factor $p$ of $n$ such that $2a+1\equiv 0 \pmod f$ where $f$ is the smallest odd positive integer greater than $1$ and less than or equal to $\min\{ 2a+1,p-1\}$ such that $5^{f}\equiv 1 \pmod p$, provided $5^{2a}\mid \mid n$, $a\in \mathbb{Z^+}$. Further, there exist prime factors $p$ and $q$ not necessarily distinct of $n$ such that $p\equiv1 \pmod {10}$ and $q\equiv 1\pmod 6$. Besides, we have proved that if a Fermat prime $F_k$ divides $n$ then $n$ must have a prime factor congruent to $1$ modulo $2F_k$.

Abstract:Based on the Goldbach conjecture and arithmetic fundamental theorem, the Goldbach conjecture was extended to more general situations, i.e., any positive integer can be written as summation of some specific prime numbers, which depends on the divisible factor of this integer, that is: For any positive integer n (n>2), if there exists an integer m, such that m|n ( 1 < m < n ), then n=∑_i=1^m p_i, where p_i (i=1,2 ,3...m) is prime number. In addition, for more prime summands, the combinatorial counting is also discussed. For some special cases, some brief proofs are given. By the use of computer, the preliminary numerical verification was given, there is no an anti-example to be found.

Abstract:We establish quantitative lower bounds for the number of primes $p$ such that, for an odd integer $b$, $p - b \leq N$ and $p - b = 2^{k(N) + m} P_k \quad \text{for some } m \geq 0$, where $P_k$ is a product of at most $k$ primes other than 2, for $k \geq 2$. These results hold under various upper bounds for $2^{k(N)}$ depending on $k $, specifically when $2^{k(N)} \leq N^a$ for different values of $a$. Our approach combines techniques from Chen's theorem, weighted sieves, and Selberg's lower bound sieve, as well as results on primes in arithmetic progressions with large power factor moduli.

Abstract:Let $S(n)$ denote the least primary factor in the primary decomposition of the multiplicative group $M_n = (\Bbb Z/n\Bbb Z)^\times$. We give an asymptotic formula, with order of magnitude $x/(\log x)^{1/2}$, for the counting function of those integers $n$ for which $S(n) \ne 2$. We also give an asymptotic formula, for any prime power $q$, for the counting function of those integers $n$ for which $S(n) = q$. This group-theoretic problem can be reduced to problems of counting integers with restrictions on their prime factors, allowing it to be addressed by classical techniques of analytic number theory.

Abstract:The main result of the paper is the Fibonacci-like property of the partition function. The partition function $p(n)$ has a property: $p(n) \leq p(n-1) + p(n-2)$. Our result shows that if we impose certain restrictions on the partition, then the inequality becomes an equality. Furthermore, we extend this result to cases with a greater number of summands.

Abstract:Let p be a prime. In this paper, we present a detailed p-adic analysis on factorials and double factorials and their congruences. We give good bounds for the p-adic sizes of the coefficients of the divided universal Bernoulli number B-n/n when n is divisible by p - 1. Using these, we then establish the universal Kummer congruences modulo powers of a prime p for the divided universal Bernoulli numbers B-n/n when n is divisible by p - 1.

Abstract:Let p be a prime, and let n>0 and r be integers. In this paper we studyFleck's quotient F_p(n,r)=(-p)^-⌊(n-1)/(p-1)⌋∑_k=r(mod p)nk(-1)^k∈ Z. We determine F_p(n,r) mod p completely by certain number-theoretic andcombinatorial methods; consequently, if 2≤ n≤ p then ∑_k=1^n(-1)^pk-1pn-1pk-1≡(n-1)!B_p-np^n (mod p^n+1), where B_0,B_1,... are Bernoulli numbers. We also establish theKummer-type congruence F_p(n+p^a(p-1),r)≡ F_p(n,r) (mod p^a) fora=1,2,3,..., and reveal some connections between Fleck's quotients and classnumbers of the quadratic fields (√(± p)) and the p-th cyclotomicfield (ζ_p). In addition, generalized Fleck quotients are also studiedin this paper.

Abstract:Let p be a prime, k a positive integer and let 𝔽_q be the finite field of q=p^k elements. Let f(x) be a polynomial over 𝔽_q and a∈𝔽_q. We denote by N_s(f,a) the number of zeros of f(x_1)+⋯+f(x_s)=a. In this paper, we show that ∑_s=1^∞N_s(f,0)x^s=x/1-qx -x M_f^'(x)/qM_f(x), where M_f(x):=∏_m∈𝔽_q^∗S_f, m 0(x-1/S_f,m) with S_f, m:=∑_x∈𝔽_qζ_p^ Tr(mf(x)), ζ_p being the p-th primitive unit root and Tr being the trace map from 𝔽_q to 𝔽_p. This extends Richman's theorem which treats the case of f(x) being a monomial. Moreover, we show that the generating series ∑_s=1^∞N_s(f,a)x^s is a rational function in x and also present its explicit expression in terms of the first 2d+1 initial values N_1(f,a), ..., N_2d+1(f,a), where d is a positive integer no more than q-1. From this result, the theorems of Chowla-Cowles-Cowles and of Myerson can be derived.

Abstract:Let $k \geq 1$ be a natural number and $f \in \mathbb{F}_q[t]$ be a monic polynomial. Let $\omega_k(f)$ denote the number of distinct monic irreducible factors of $f$ with multiplicity $k$. We obtain asymptotic estimates for the first and the second moments of $\omega_k(f)$ with $k \geq 1$. Moreover, we prove that the function $\omega_1(f)$ has normal order $\log (\text{deg}(f))$ and also satisfies the Erdős-Kac Theorem. Finally, we prove that the functions $\omega_k(f)$ with $k \geq 2$ do not have normal order.

Abstract:Let $k$ and $n$ be natural numbers. Let $\omega_k(n)$ denote the number of distinct prime factors of $n$ with multiplicity $k$ as studied by Elma and the third author. We obtain asymptotic estimates for the first and the second moments of $\omega_k(n)$ when restricted to the set of $h$-free and $h$-full numbers. We prove that $\omega_1(n)$ has normal order $\log \log n$ over $h$-free numbers, $\omega_h(n)$ has normal order $\log \log n$ over $h$-full numbers, and both of them satisfy the Erdős-Kac Theorem. Finally, we prove that the functions $\omega_k(n)$ with $1 < k < h$ do not have normal order over $h$-free numbers and $\omega_k(n)$ with $k > h$ do not have normal order over $h$-full numbers.

If p is a prime, we establish an analogue of Iwasawa’s theorem in algebraic number theory for the orders ord_p ( Δ _np^t ( f,g)) of the p -primary part of Δ _np^t ( f,g) when t varies.

Abstract:For a fixed quadratic irreducible polynomial f with no fixed prime factors at prime arguments, we prove that there exist infinitely many primes p such that f(p) has at most 4 prime factors, improving a classical result of Richert who requires 5 in place of 4. Denoting by $P^+(n)$ the greatest prime factor of n, it is also proved that $P^+(f(p))>p^{0.847}$ infinitely often.
