Abstract:This paper introduces the design and realization of intelligent I/O modules in a small computer control system.The modules are based on SCM and CPLD,and they can be integrated smartly into different kinds of I/O modules.The modules have many intelligent functions such as scale and channel selecting,engineering data processing and fault diagnosis.The modules are connected to the computer control system through RS-485 data bus,and they communicate with MODBUS serial line protocol.The practice shows that the modules have the advantages of stable performances,high reliability and convenient usage.
