Abstract:In order to accurately measure the unbalance of rotation systems in dynamic balancing machines,a sophisticated high-speed data acquisition system is necessary.Embedded systems with MCU are effective solutions while they are expensive and complicated.The real-time capacity of the data acquisition system was guaranteed by the architecture based on CPLD.Non real-time data processing can be accomplished on the host computer.Data was transferred through PCI bus to the host computer thus divested the dependence of the real-time capacity of the host computer and simplified the operation of MCU in comparison with embedded systems.Finally,results of the experiment were provided to prove that the maximal phase error was 0.09° at the frequency of 1KHz and the data acquisition system was an effective and simple solution with low cost.
