Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(26)H(33)N(3)O(4), there are two crystallographically independent mol-ecules. The two cyclohexane rings are trans-fused; the ring neighboring the phenyl group is in a half-chair conformation and the other is in a chair conformation. The two nitro groups and the benzene ring of the dinitro-phenyl group are almost coplanar. Intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds are observed.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(12)H(16)O(2), the plane of the carboxylic acid group is almost perpendicular to the benzene ring [dihedral angle 80.9 (3)°] and the tert-butyl unit is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.503 (6):0.497 (6) ratio. In the crystal structure, centrosymmetric dimers arise from pairs of O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving the carboxylic acid groups.

Abstract:The crystals of the title compound, C15H15N3O4, were obtained from a condensation reaction of 2,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and 4-nitrophenylhydrazine. The molecule displays a nearly planar structure. The overlapped arrangement of nearly parallel benzene rings of neighboring molecules and centroid-centroid distance of 3.5642 (16) Angstrom suggest pi,pi stacking. Adjacent molecules are linked to each other via N-H...O hydrogen bonds to form a helical supramolecular structure.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C(13)H(10)N(4)O(4), were obtained from a condensation reaction of benzaldehyde and 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. The molecule assumes an approximately planar E configuration. Within the dinitrophenyl moiety, the average distance for the aromatic C-C bonds close to the imino group [1.417 (3) A] is appreciably longer than the average distance for the other aromatic C-C bonds in the same phenyl ring [1.373 (3) A]. This increased distance may be a result of the overlap of the non-bonding orbital of the imino N atom with the pi orbitals of the arene. It is likely that pi-pi stacking exists in the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Abstract:The title compound, C(21)H(17)BrN(2)O(4), a 2-phenoxy-2-phenyl-acetamide derivative, exhibits a stereogenic center but crystallizes as a racemate as indicated by the centrosymmetric space group. In the molecular structure, the nitro-substituted benzene ring is coplanar [dihedral angle = 12.9 (1)degrees] with the plane formed by H-N-C(=O)-C=O due to intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bond interactions.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C13H10N4O4, were obtained from a condensation reaction of 2-nitrobenzaldehyde and 4-nitrophenylhydrazine. Significantly different C-N(nitro) and N-O bond distances are observed for the o- and p-nitro groups. The aromatic C-C bonds close to the imino group are longer than the others in the same benzene ring. The overlapped arrangement of nearly parallel benzene rings from neighboring molecules and centroid-to-centroid distance of 3.9370 (9) Angstrom suggest pi-pi stacking.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H18BrN3O3, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-methanesulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine and N-(2-bromophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzylamine in tetrahydrofuran. There are three different planes in the molecule, each of which is conjugated. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine plane and the planes of the two phenyl rings are 107.85 (4) and 77.38 (2) degrees, and the dihedral angle between the planes of the two phenyl rings is 103.15(3)degrees.

Abstract:The title compound, C13H10FNO2, was obtained by the reaction of 2-bromo-4-fluoro-benzoic acid with aniline. There are two independent mol-ecules, A and B, in the asymmetric unit, with slight conformational differences: the dihedral angles between the aromatic rings are 55.63 (5) and 52.65 (5)°. Both mol-ecules feature an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by pairwise O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form A-B acid-acid dimers and weak C-H⋯F inter-actions further connect the dimers.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(27)H(23)N(3)O·H(2)O, the benzimidazole ring system has an r.m.s. deviation of 0.0071 Å and makes dihedral angles of 34.51 (2), 55.22 (3) and 41.05 (5)° with the central and N-bonded phenyl rings, respectively. In the crystal, the water mol-ecular is connected to the organic mol-ecule by inter-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds also occur.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C15H14ClN3O4, were obtained from a condensation reaction of 2-chloro-3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and 4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. Within the nitrophenyl moiety, the distances of 1.401 (2) and 1.399 (2) A for the two C—C bonds adjacent to the imino group are appreciably longer than the average distance of 1.377 (2) A for the other aromatic C—C bonds in the same benzene ring.
