Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the difference of people's demand for and satisfaction with the community health service in urban and rural areas, so as to promote community health service in these areas. Method:Studying typical urban communities in Xiacheng District in downtown of Hangzhou city, and taking the residents in random to constitute urban samples; studying typical country communities in Yuhang District, and taking the residents in random to constitute country samples and carrying out questionnaire. Result:In general, samples from both urban and rural areas were satisfied with their community health service. Because of the differences in cultural background, financial conditions and health consciousness, major influential factors on their satisfaction with health service are different: in urban communities the factor is health contract citizens made with community health service station while in rural communities the factors are two-week health situation, health service station and health contract. After the merger of urban and rural areas, the influential factors are sex, educational level, two-week health situation, health service station and health contract. Conclusions:For the satisfaction with community health service, there are differences in the influential factors between urban citizens and rural residents. The satisfaction evaluation is the important indicator for social effectiveness of community health service.
