On the Feasibility of Prose Poetry——beyond a Discussion about Mr.Yu Guangzhong's Prejudice

Abstract:Mr.Yu Guangzhong thought that prose poetry is a being of "neither a donkey nor a horse".This viewpoint has been a substitution of many people's prejudice over prose poetry.In this paper,after analyzing some affirmative viewpoints in Japanese literature circle about prose poetry,the history of prose poetry,Mr.Yu Guangzhong' prejudice and its background,the author points out that this style is not merely an inevitable developing trend of poetry and literature.The author predicts that because the literature features of prose poetry surpasses surpass the combination of simple poetry and prose,prose poetry will inevitably develop into a "great poetry" literature containing full aesthetic appreciation and combining the cream of all kinds of literatures and arts,because the literature features of prose poetry surpasses surpass the combination of simple poetry and prose.
