艾靑 詩의 對立的 世界와 和諧의 美學

Abstract:For the many Chinese poets drawn to Symbolist and High Modernist poetry since the 1930s, imagery, and metaphor in particular, becomes the necessary means of understanding the world. As the young Ai Qing said, "On the one hand, the poet understands the world imagistically; on the other hand, he explicates the world to man imagistically. The depth of the poet's understanding of the world ie expressed in the clarity of the images he creates." Image, the beginning of literary art," serves as the window on the poet's inner and outer world; "the process of making imagery is the process of the poet's getting to know the world." As we have seen above, Ai Qing's poetry shows us the world in which such contrary factors as cities and countries, heaven and earth, and dark and light coexist. And Ai Qing forms in it a value-system in which we witness cities, earth, and dark have transferred to countries, heaven, and light and seeks space the two contrary worlds being harmonized. Namely, Ai Qing in his poems overcome negative value through mediate spaces such as hills, mountains, windows, and seek to transfer to the positive value. The trend of Ai Qing's poetry is the poetic life force which shows some consistency in his poems and his poetic spirit which unites his poems organically.
