Abstract:During the past thirty years,China has attracted world-wide attention through its opening up,its utilization of two markets and two kinds of resources,and the way it has raised the efficiency of resource allocation,increased employment and economic growth,and promoted the progress of reform.After three decades of reform and opening-up and sustained growth,there has been a marked increase in China's economic aggregate and per capita income as well as a marked improvement in the country's comparative advantage in the international division of labor and in the external environment.A number of new features can be seen in China's economic development and its external economic relations and trade.China is entering a new stage of development.We should fully understand the changes in our own circumstances and the latest developments in globalization,become actively involved in global economic affairs,and elevate total factor productivity through global allocation of resources.Through expanding communication and cooperation,we should promote the integration of interests,deal with global economic and social difficulties jointly with other countries,and create and preserve an external environment which corresponds with China's fundamental and long-term interests.
